Victor looks upset.

Something that I find new on him, he hasn't flashed even a crooked smile on anyone. He's sitting rather slouchy on the executive chair, making him look uninterested on the discussion.

Speaking of which, Harold's sitting beside our unexpected guest while I sit three seats far from them. At times I can see Victor, sitting beside me, looking at her with depth in his eyes. What did she do to him that made him to be this frosty? I turn my gaze back to Harold and especially Monique, I assess how she looks now, she looks more matured and gorgeous, gone is the pink hair that taunts me up to my dreams, and I must admit she looks lovely on her chestnut beach wave locks.

She has a tattoo on her arm; it looks like mystical to me. Well, it looks cool on her silky soft skin. She looks angelic with her white complexion and that promising smile she's been flashing everyone since she came in, I can't deny that they already got smitten of her, if they only know...

I shake the negative thoughts that are playing inside my head. But I just can't be sure. It's been years and the way Harold looks disturbed whenever Monique goes physically attached to him in front everyone makes me feel totally uneasy.

"I am so delighted that I finally meet you all now." She gushes as she clasps her hands together, she's been introduced as a new addition to the company officials, thus, they made her a position that doesn't actually existed because every departments has their own heads, therefore she is now,

"Vice President for External Affairs." I just rolled my eyes at the announcement, even Victor scoffed at it,

"I thought Marketing Operations are under my supervision? Why don't make her Vice President for Internal Affairs?" Victor suggests spicily. Everybody was stunned with Victor's sudden cockiness that no one even made a motion, Monique's smile faded as if she's been sentenced to do the dishes for a month.

"Mr. Lopez, the Board decided to make division on the scope of the operations of the company, thus, coming up with adding another Vice President so that there will be better supervision between internal and external affairs." Atty. Mendez, the Corporate Secretary explained,

"Why? Am I not performing enough? Did I forlorn my duties? Am I no more functional?" Victor's tone becomes more aggressive, this feels war. Oh no.

"This is not to be taken personally Mister Vice President for Internal Affairs. This is the decision of the Board. I guess it's enough explanation that Miss Walters holds the second highest percentage of stocks in this company, making her legit to be entitled a position in the company." The Attorney added, but it seems like it just triggered Victor,

"Oh yes! How can I forget!? I only hold 10% of stocks in this company." Then he stands up and walked out, slamming the door as he leaves. Everyone was left speechless, Harold just face palmed while the rest of the heads are just staring at each other, indeed it took us by storm about the sudden addition to the company's officials.

"Well, this is a surprise. I guess the Board should learn about the immaturity of the second highest official." Atty. Mendez threatens,

"I think Attorney that will be very insignificant. Maybe he is just shock about the news, let us give him enough time to analyse the announcement. After all, I am just a newbie here, it's a common reaction, I must say?" Monique covers up for Victor's misdemeanour, but the Attorney looking still unconvinced was about to say something when Monique hold his hand and offered him dinner this night. The Attorney looking seriously smitten of her charms just keeps nodding his head like a toy dog in a car cupboard.
