It was a normal day until my sister Lilly cut herself on a piece of glass and eating food didn't heal her. That's when my mom and I realized she had The Disease, which has no cure. We thought that if we were careful and made sure she stayed safe, she would be fine. But she got bone cancer, a disease that causes her bones to get infected and weakened. It has no cure but it has a procedure that can help. The procedure costs a lot of money and we were already struggling with money and didn't have enough to pay for it.
Me and my mom tried to get other jobs but nothing worked, but I came up with a idea. Before I keep going, I am getting ahead of myself. My name is Gina Davidson or Georgenotfound. My dad left when I was 18, he didn't know that my mom was pregnant with Lilly. Lilly, at the time I am writing this, is 8 and I am 26.
This is my diary of part of my life. Anyway back to the story, I got the idea to join The Hunters. The Hunters are people who are hunting down Dream and splitting the prize money. But there was one problem, they are only taking boys and I am a girl. So I cut my hair and dressed like a boy and hid my identity.
I packed a bag said bye to my mom and Lilly and left to The Hunters.
