--------------------------------------------------------------

Thousands of years ago, the dragons where born. They ruled the Earth with their logic of the lands, they understood the world better than any human ever could. Having all four elements on their side water, fire, earth, and air. Humans and dragons always had a understanding peace. The dragons helped the humans by keeping them safe with the elements, and the humans praised the dragons, offering food, and many things in return. But where there are humans, there will always be conflict. Some people didn't agree with praising the dragons and thought humans should be rid of dragons. So they decided to hunt, and kill all the dragons. Slowly even with their powers the amount of dragons where depleting, until four where left. Through out time their dragon name's couldn't be translated, the four where called The Last Divine.

In order for humans to understand their names, they where given human names: The Water Dragoness was named Adria, the Fire Dragoness was named Enya, the Earth Dragon was named Cephas, and the Wind Dragon was named Nodin. The Last Divine decided to bless four humans with their powers, giving them the ability to use their specific elements. The Dragons decided that through out the generations after one passed another would be blessed with their power. So that no one could forget the dragons, and so that humans may be able to understand the world better.

"Tell it again! Tell it again!"

The woman infront of us, our mother, smiles back at us, her hand caressing young Danica's hair as she blinks tiredly. Our mother speaks with her kind voice, gently covering the six year old in our blanket.

"It's time we go to sleep, I'll tell it again tomorrow okay?"

Danica tries to refuse, but sleep wins another night as she closes her eyes. My mother smiles, happy to see her resting. "Good night my dear." She whispers to me reaching over to plant a kiss on my forehead.

"Kimi?"

I gasp as I wake up, realizing what just happened was an old memory. My eleven year old sister sits infront of me, looking at me worried with her olive green eyes. Her hand tugs at her short dark brown hair, a bad habit she started doing when she is nervous or anxious. I push my long hair behind my ears letting out a sigh.

"What's wrong?"

"Well, you where talking in your sleep again, I got worried because last time y-"

I sigh again, putting my hand on her head, like out mother did, since it's the best way to comfort her. "I already apologized for screaming in my sleep. I haven't had that dream in a while so their is no need to worry." I close my eyes once more, preparing to go back to sleep, since the sun isn't out yet.

"Yes, but you said fire was in that dream, and most of your dreams are memories the only fire related thing is when Mom and Dad-"

"I told you Danica! I didn't dream about their death, it was that time mom burnt the bread for your birthday." I turn my back to her, growing at my lie. If I tell her the truth she'll only worry, she's just a kid she has other things to worry about. "Go back to sleep, I have work tomorrow."

She doesn't respond as she lays back down. I hadn't meant to fuss at her, but I didn't want her thinking about such things so early in the morning. Unable to fall back asleep I lay in our bed for what felt like an hour but was really only a quarter of that. Untimitly deciding to get up and get ready for work, and clean the house alittle so Danica has less to do while I'm gone.
