Chapter 5

I walk in the direction of the inn astonished. This has to be fake?

"Anyway, let me get out of your hair so you can rest. Head south for two blocks on the corner you will see the inn. Also, if I where you I would go with room four. I've heard bad things about alot of the rooms and that one seems to be safe."

I walk through the door and see an old man at the counter, a stern 'how can I help you' is all he says.

"I'd like a room." He nods reaching down to grab a key. "And just wondering, is room four available?" He sighs, putting the key in his hand back and grabbing a different one. I read the number on the key, clearly having four written into it. "Thanks."

I walk up the stairs, unlock the door and throw my bags next to the bed. I breathe in a deep breath.

"Great Dragons!"

I start to let all my excitement out whether it's just mild happy screams or jumping, a Dragon needed to get better with a sword! I can make this happen so much faster! If I can get the Dragon to take private lessons, which may take some time, I can take him down bring him to Terran and I can find the Fire Dragon bring them and all I have left is the Wind Dragon! Only problem is when I go, I can't go tomorrow, I said I was here for work and I can't seem not busy, but I can't waste time and make him think I'm to busy. I hear a knock at my door, quickly getting up and looking through the peep hole, seeing the man from downstairs.

"Someone said to give this note to a Kimi?"

"Thanks."

Who in the world would-

It seems we forgot to say when you would be coming, I was hoping maybe tomorrow or the day after when ever your free. Good luck on what ever commission your taking on!

                                                   -Dylan

This guy. The town must either be extremely safe and trusting, or crazy, letting strangers into their homes for tours. Letting me, a random person not from town have a private tour and getting to 'teach' a Dragon? Maybe it would be better to go tomorrow that way my nerves can settle and I can slight relax.

==================================

"Umm, I'm here for Dylan Goodman."

The two guards in front of the gate look at me sturnly before turning to each other confused.

"We can't let random people go in alone ma'am I'm going to need proof of-"

"I have a letter signed by him."

I hand the tall man in armor the letter and he takes it cautiously. The shorter but still very tall guard points to be the signiture.

"I'd recognize that messy hand writing anywhere. Go ahead ma'am."

I walk towards the front door, making it on to the first step before I head a familiar voice.

"Hey there I didn't expect you here so soon!"

"It's only nine o'clock."

"Only? Man I wish I had that attatude with mornings. So, ready for that tour, this will be the highlight of your trip."

I doubt it.

"Sure, but you know just curious... When will we be doing the sword play?"

"Good question, I figured we could take the tour and our last stop would be the garden and there is where we could do it. Wouldn't want you tired on the tour now would we?"

"No we would not."

He seems different today, granted I don't know him very well since I only met him yesterday, but outside he seemed normal. Not a care in the world until he said something he thought wasn't good. Had abit of sarcasm, humor, and the letter he sent shows his personality. Now, he seems to be putting on an act, very chipper and happy much better and well dressed to. Not that being  in nice clothes is bad, it just seemed like he isn't enjoying being here.

The tour takes a while alittle over a hour. I was shown almost every corner of the mansion, except bedrooms of course. Now we are in the last part, the garden. The house is a two story circle, with a raised faint porch garden in the center, made with multiple sections of circles to separate the area. For example there are three pools for some odd reason, a tennis, volleyball, and basketball court, and a fencing/swords place which is where we are headed now. He seems more normal now, as he was yesterday, in the garden. Looking and acting less stressed.

"So what do you do here? You've told md about plenty of other people and what they do so I'm curious as to you."

"Me? I umm, I train the Water Dragon."

"Really! I didn't expect that."

He smiles as he speaks with sarcasm in his voice. "You don't think I can train a Dragon?"

"Well you seem abit young to train a highly skilled person who can throw water around. How do you even train a Dragon don't they just know how to throw water?"

"Heh, yes I guess 19 is young to train a person, but alot of people think the way you do when it's not true. People don't just know how to talk, they have to learn from their parents or who they listen to and are around them. If you where stranded with no one around you as a child you would not be able to talk. We have to use old methods of other Dragons which is what I do, I look over the methods and teach him the best I can."

"Him?"

"The Water Dragon, have you been living under a rock?"

"I know acouple things about old Dragons, but I never really looked into the new Dragons."

"Well the Water Dragon is a him, and the Fire Dragon is- What are you doing?"

We pass by a large  fountain in the center of the grades and see a little girl floating.

"Nanny said I have to stay in the water."

"She meant the pool Mirri."

"Why is she in the fountain?"

He chuckles, shaking his head.

"She hates water. The only reason is-"

"I'm the Fire Dragon, I'm supposed to hate water!"

"We've told her just because she's the Fire Dragon she doesn't need to... But here we are." Sighing once more he speaks one last time. "Just be easy on Nanny today okay?"

She huffs and I laugh as we continue walking. Finally making it to the last stop, Dylan quickly grabs two swords and hands me one of them.

"Where is the Dragon?"

"Ah, about that, you will have to fight me this once, not everyone approved of a random stranger with a sword and the Water Dragon."

"Really? I wonder why?"

He laughs as he lifted his sword.

"Whenever your r-"

Cutting him off I rush forward, I need to prove myself, I'm not letting an opportunity like this slip. He seems to be mildly good at this, larryinf alot of my hits, trying to get me at the correct times, but I've been doing this for a long time, and the determination I have will help me through this. I hit him in the heart with the sword.

"Very nice, rushing sf me when I was asking if you where ready, how cruel of you Kimi."

The smile on his face was polite, showing no I'll thoughts of a loss or the fact I struck as he was speaking.

"You where asking if I was ready, so I assumed you would be ready. You have to be prepared for anything."

"Very true, how about another round?"

Five, six, twelve, then eighteen rounds pass by, and we both sit down endt to each other on the wall out of breath, a fifty/fifty on wins. I start laughing, unable to stop before Dylan joins in.

"Ahh, I haven't had that much fun in a while, thank you."

I lean my head on his shoulder, closing my eyes with a sigh, and we don't move for acouple seconds.

"The Dragons happened to you?"
