Dragon Dream (Completed)

Chapter 10

Dylan fights back Terrans words, but I don't listen. My mind is racing, I burned our home down. I'm the one who killed my parents!

"Take me."

"What?"

They both spoke at the same time, confused.

"I'll get you the Fire Dragon, and take me instead of Dylan you said younger gives you more years that should work right?"

"Kimi you can't!"

"Well well well! I didn't expect that, how heroic of you! It won't work as good as it normally does... But I'll take it!"

"Kimi, Mirri is Danica's age you can't- I'd rather die than let him have Mirri let her live I've lived enough of mine!"

He wasn't speaking to me anymore, he looked at Terran has he spoke.

"I can't do that, your older than her you bring me less years!"

"I'm only two years older I-"

"Dylan!" He looks at me. "I killed my parents I took them away from Danica! This is my way to make up for it."

"By getting rid of her only family! That will only hurt her Kimi!"

"You'll take care of her, right?"

"Kimi you can't do this I-"

Terran takes my sword, hitting the handle of it on Dylan's head, knocking him out.

"What are you doing?"

"He won't quit repeating himself, you'll talk circles at this rate." He pauses seeing my face. "Don't worry he will be fine! Dragons you've gone soft Hale, now help me lift him."

"We aren't bringing him to your cells."

"You expect him to be here when we get back? He'll stay here and-"

"No, he'll be in town we can come back and send Danica to him and I go get the Fire Dragon there so you can do your ritual."

"I guess I'm in no place to bargain... Fine leave the boy here."

He walks away from Dylan, leaving him there. I pick up my sword and follow Terran, this should be an interesting trip.

Our home is a small building, two stories. A small storage place that doesn't belong to us at the bottom and where we live uptop.

"She's buried in the back."

I bring him to the back yard, finding it hard to unlock the gate in the dark but manage still.

"Get a shovel."

"A shovel? You want me to dig after being on a train all day and night? Use your powers and dig it up!"

"I have to reserve them for your sister, or do you want your lover boy to die?"

I let out an upset sigh as I go get a shovel, starting to dig. I stop as I hear a thump, the shovel meeting wood.

"How does this work? She's been down there for days."

He sighs, obviously annoyed. "I answered this already Little Hale, it's like a shield."

I role my eyes. Forgive me if that's not suitable enough! Was what I wanted to say but I held my tounge. I open the casket, shocked to see Danica intact.

"Go ahead lift her up."

I feel a shiver go down my spine, he says she isn't dead, but she looks it and feels it as I pick her up. I place her on the ground, Terran kneels placing a hand under her head and on her hands which are crossed on her chest. A yellow and orange light flashes, and two intertwining spheres circle around her heart.
