Chapter 11

I place my hand on the bandages on my neck, laying down on the bed in the inn. If he had been acouple seconds late I would have died. Was that the right thing to do, would I have accomplished anything? His face was worried as I did it, so maybe, but I'm glad Connor came in time. I'd rather be alive and Terran dead, my death was just to make sure he would be gone aswell.

"Are you an idiot!"

I jump up, my door swinging open. The innkepper is here aswell, saying 'you can't just bardge in here!' but the girl yelling at me isn't listening.

"You almost killed yourself!"

"Ma'am there are people here trying to rest- sir can you please stop her?"

Sir? I don't see anyone but Danica here who is he talking to?

"I'm sorry sir, that's her sister in there I'm afraid I-"

I rush through the door, I'd recognize that voice anywhere-

"Dylan?" Five times! That's five times I've cried this week! I swear I'm going through to much I need to stop this madness. I rush towards him, hugging him tightly. "I'm sorry! Dylan I'm so sorry, I just wanted to keep both of you safe! I didn't want to go through the plan with Terran and by the time we got here I came up with the new one and-"

He cuts me off, kissing me silent. I hear the innkepper mumble as he walks away down the stairs.

"It's okay, while I don't like you talking about killing Dragons I knew you wouldn't go through with it, I didn't however think you where going to try and harm yourself!"

"Your courting a Dragon!"

I feel my face blush at Danicas words. "Umm, I guess so?"

"You guess so? Dylan hardly explained anything to me, he said I was 'asleep' and now all this?"

I grab Dylan's hand, bringing him and Danica in so that we can explain everything.

"So, I was dead, but not dead?" I nod. "And you were going to kill him, but fell in love?" I nod. "Then you figured out you were a Dragon and wanted to kill another Dragon?" I nod. "And then you tried to kill yourself?"

"You got the jist of it yeah."

"Uhuh... Are you stupid!" I flinch, not expecting her to start yelling again. "You where going to leave me alone? Without anyone?"

"Well you where going to have Dylan and-"

"Oh forgive me if I don't trust a stranger!" She quietly apologizes to Dylan before continuing. "Our parents died, you want me to be an orphan and sister less?"

"No I wanted you to be safe, that was my best option!"

"I knew you where dense but I didn't think this much!"

"I killed mom and dad, me dying would make up for you being parentless I can't-"

"You couldn't control your powers! It was an accident Kimi! Dragons, you where my age you shouldn't be bearing this you should be enjoying time with your boyfriend, living life, discovering your ability, not taking care of me!"

I smile, that sounds similar to what I told Cara once, except flipped around for her to live her life. Normally I wouldn't let her talk to me this way, but in this case I feel like I diserve it. While I never wanted to sacrifice Mirri, it's scary to think at one point I would have. My only outcome in my mind was to sacrifice myself, she didn't know what was happening, it's alot for her to take in. So I'll let her be mad, and tell me what she feels.

"I won't try to hurt myself again Danny, I promise."
