Jennie's POV

"Chu, Chaeng, you wont believe what just happened to me!" I exaggeratedly said ---like really I exaggerate much when I tell my friends stories. It's just them anyways. I only have emotional capacity for two friends

"HAHAHAHAHAHA! So that's why you were wearing some big shoes that obviously don't fit you!" Chaeng exclaimed. She saw me because we're classmates since we're both taking law

"Yeah yeah okay okay" and my ever so nonchalant friend Jisoo responded

"You're not even listening!" I whined that startled her

"I was! -- I mean I am!"

"See!" I rolled my eyes at her but she seems like she doesn't care because she is looking somewhere

I followed where her eyes are looking and ---- oh shit!

I put my head down, not wanting to be seen and I also pushed Jisoo and Chaeng's head down, I think rather forceful that their head hit the table

"Aw! What the fuck Jennie?!"
"Girl, what the hell?"
They said in unison

"Oh my god sorry! But shut up and keep your head down! She might see us!"
"Who?"
"The doctor!" I exclaimed. Its Doc! Why is she here?!

Jisoo forcefully took out my hand on her head that's keeping her down the table, well --- she succeeded but Chaeng stayed with me

"So why the hell again?" Chaeng asked still her head down

"Its the doctor" I repeated

"Oh the shoe owner"

"Chaeng I swear you make it sound like she's stitching and repairing shoes"

"What's the matter if she saw you? And why does it matter if she saw me? I don't even know her!" Jisoo said angrily. Why is she so angry anyway? Maybe the push down really hurt hehe

"You don't know her?" I asked Jisoo, still my head down

"No. I would have reacted earlier while you were telling me the story if I did. You idiot!" She reasoned out that perfectly makes sense

"And you look stupid. She will notice you more if you're like that" she added

"But when I followed your gaze, you were looking at her!" I defended

"What? -- huh?! I don't even know her face! I was looking at my officemate!"

"Officemate?" I slowly lifted my head upon what she said. Chaeng followed

"Yeah. The officemate I'm telling you about"

Me and Chaeng turned to each other with knowing look

"Oh so that's why you were not listening to me because the officemate is here" I smirked because I'm already ready to tease her

"Shut up"

"I thought you two are close?" Chaeng asked Jisoo

"Yes we are. During office hours. But I don't know much about his private life. But I do feel that he is in a relationship because we follow each other in social media and he keeps on posting about someone"

"How so? Maybe they're just friends?" It's me this time. Like why do people always assume two people are in a relationship just because they're always together?

"They seem pretty close to be just friends" she said obviously bitter about it

"Besides, he's with her now" she added
