Lisa's POV

I'm thinking. Really hard. I have my one hand massaging my temples. I cant. I cant comprehend it. Is it some kind of complicated psychology? Should I ask a psychologist? I know one back in undergrad

Or wait, isn't Chaeng a psychology graduate? Should I ask her?

But she's friends with attorney and attorney is my problem

What's with her attitude last time? What did I do? I mean she is mostly mean at me but it was the first time she bursted out like that

But anyways I got her number now that I got from Hae-in that Hae-in asked from Jisoo. Yeah, that number went through a lot

Graveyard shift was just over and I'm now in our quarters, holding my phone in my hand with a text message to be written waiting for me

What should I say? Is it even my fault? I don't even have an idea what I did. If anything I gave what she wants and didn't insist on the deal anymore

I'm still in deep thoughts when someone spoke

"Why are you texting Jennie?"

"What the fuck!" I over reacted. I was surprised!

"Good morning, my completely normal friend with a completely normal boundary" I said sarcastically

"And how did you even know I'm gonna text attorney?" I added and she just giggled while changing on her scrubs

"Lis, I can still read, just letting you know if you aren't updated" she responded

"And you look so troubled you didn't even notice me. What happened?" She asked

"Attorney is being weird" I said

"Jennie is always weird" she responded shrugging her shoulders

"But she seems normal to me?" I said truthfully

"Because you're also weird" she responded that made me throw a pillow at her but she just laughed it off

"I just really cant understand her behavior. Why is she always mad at me? Well her words are harsh but her actions are nice" I explained my agony. She's completely confusing. Its like she's a walking paradox

"I know why" she said that made my eyes glow. Finally, HOPE!

"Why?" I asked full of hope in my eyes

"Because you're both weird" she answered and all my hope was gone and now I just want to strangle her

I'll strangle her and then revive her after

"Figure it out. You're one of the best doctors here, Manoban. Ciao! Patients are waiting for me" and with that she disappeared

And I'm back on square one again

Well whatever. I'll just ask her myself. Its still early so even though I don't know her schedule, I'm certain that there are no class schedules this early so I'll just wait outside her apartment

I was about to make my exit opening the door when someone beat me to it

It was Joohyun

And she seems surprised to see me

"Lisa..." she said looking into my eyes and thats when I realized that her eyes are puffy

Without thinking, I cupped her cheeks and looked at her worriedly

"What happened? Are you okay?" I said looking into her eyes

She didn't say anything but instead she hugged me tight, burying her head on my chest and I cant help but to caress her hair
