Irene's POV

I'm really nervous. This is the day that I'll finally find out if I passed the MCAT. I'm standing nervously in front of the bulletin board for the list of names that is admitted in the school

But when I say in front, I also mean that in front of countless students that also wanna find out about their future

And damn why do I have to be so small. I kid you not, I don't even see even the bulletin board. I'm blessed (even if I don't want to) with the view of people's back and I cant even push my way in

This will take long

I heave a deep sigh ready to just give up when I noticed a girl coming and is obviously out of breath

"This......this is" she was looking at me so I guess she's talking to me? She's having a hard time tho, breathing I mean

"Just take a breath first" I stated then she took a long, very long actually, deep breath

"I'm okay now. So as I was saying, this is the result for MCAT right?" She asked

"Yes. You'll also look for your results?"

"Nope. Just for a friend" she said and I nod as a response

"Come on" she stated

"Where?" I asked confused

"To look for our---- your name and my friend's name" I looked at her suspiciously causing her to laugh awkwardly

"Just come on!" She got a hold of my hand and led the way in front

I don't even know how she did it but she got through the crowd so I got through too

I immediately looked for my name the moment I finally saw the bulletin board

"Joohyun Bae. Joohyun Bae. Joohyun Bae" I kept on mumbling to myself as I go through the list

And then..... THERE IT IS! I PASSED!

I jumped in joy and hugged the girl that helped me through unconsciously

"Oh I'm sorry. I got overjoyed" I said the moment I realized I was hugging her

I got a look on her face and she seems down.....

"What happened? Did your friend pass?" I asked but she just shook her head. She looks so sad

"I'm sorry. Oh god. I'm really sorry" I felt that I was insensitive for celebrating like that when she was sad

"That's okay. It's not your fault" she assured me with a smile

"But are you sure? Can you tell me the name? Then we'll look for it together. What do you say?" I said trying to comfort her. Maybe, just maybe her friend's name is there, she just didn't saw it

"Okay. Last chance. Its Lalisa Manoban" she stated

"Okay then let's look for Lalisa Manoban!" I rooted

I scanned through the list but true enough the name isn't there but I overheard someone

"Girl, congratulations! You're part of the top 10!"

That's right. I haven't checked the top list and it wouldn't hurt to check

The top 10 list was actually highlighted but I didn't thought of looking at it because I just know that I wont make it
