Jennie's POV

"So is the deal on now?" The doctor asked while driving

"Do I even have a choice?" I responded, rolling my eyes of course

"You do have a choice tho" she argued

"Just shut up" she just laughed at my antics but finally, we're at the university now

"Anyways, before you go, I would like to inform you that BAR exams are just two months away, so please minimize annoying me. But I'll still cook for you as my end of the bargain" I stated. I just want her to know so that she'll understand if ever I wont make her something

"The only thing that registered in my mind is that you'll cook for me. Thank you!" She said cheekily

"I just said minimize annoying me and you just did! I'll go now!" I said stomping my way out of her car and harshly closing her car door

I know. I just know she's laughing hard right now

Before I could completely walk away, she opened her car window and spoke

"Thank you for the meal again, attorney! I know it's good even though I haven't tasted it yet. Have a good day ahead! I'll pick you up later" she said before finally driving away

My face suddenly heat up at the statement. Why does it feel like we're a couple?

I shook my head, like REALLY shook my head hard. What the fuck am I thinking

"Girl, I know our subject today is hard. You can talk to me okay?" Chaeng suddenly spoke beside

"You saw what I did?" I asked

"Girl, many people saw. You'll freak out those who wants to go to law school" she stated and when I looked around, many people are looking at me

I immediately hide my face behind Chaeng. That's super embarrassing! Annoying doctor to the very core!

A week has passed since our set up and so far it has really been consistent. I've been cooking for her and she is always picking me up

It made me realize few things and one thing is that the doctor isn't that annoying. If anything I'm starting to enjoy her company. She's just childish that I feel like I'm with a kid

*ring ring*

The doctor is calling

"What do you want?"

"Goodmorning to you too Attorney. What's the menu for today?" 

"Just a regular tuna sandwich. But I boiled you some eggs. I know you're a heavy eater"

"Wow! I get hungry just by thinking about it!"

"So hurry up and get here. Where are you anyways?"

"Do you miss me?"

I suddenly blushed at the question. I became so used to her presence that sometimes, just SOMETIMES, I'm thinking of her

"In your dreams"

"Okay then I'll go back to sleep"

"MANOBAN!" I shouted over the phone. And yes, I call her something other than doctor now. But still no first names. It's either 'doctor' or her last name Manoban. I don't know, its like its the perfect name to be called out

"HAHAHAHAHAAAHAAHAHAA! Alright alright. I'll be there in a few. Wait for me attorney!"
