FRIDAY. The heat and humidity of Singapore had taken its toll by the time Aelina finished FP1. She felt the sweat clinging to her body beneath her race suit, the residual pain in her ribs a constant reminder of the crash at Zandvoort. As she made her way back to the Porsche hospitality area, she focused on her breathing, trying to manage the discomfort.

"How are you feeling?" Theo asked, his eyes scanning her face for any signs of distress.

"Hot and a bit sore," Aelina admitted, giving him a tired smile. "But I'll be okay."

Theo nodded, already moving to set up the ice bath. "Let's get you cooled down. The humidity here is no joke, and we need to make sure you're in top shape for FP2."

Aelina followed him to the area where the ice bath was set up, grateful for his attentiveness. She took a deep breath and began to peel off her race suit, leaving on her sports bra and shorts. The thought of the ice bath left and uneasy taste in her mouth, but she knew she needed to do this.

"Alright, in you go," Theo said, helping her ease into the bath. The initial shock of the cold water made her gasp, but she quickly settled in, letting the icy chill seep into her muscles.

The shock of the cold took her breath away, but she knew it was necessary. She sank deeper into the ice bath, slowly feeling the relief as the cold water worked its magic. Her breathing slowed, and she closed her eyes, letting the coolness seep into her bones.

"We'll do fifteen minutes," he said, his tone gentle but firm. "How's it feeling?" Theo asked, crouching beside the bath, his hands resting on the edge.

"Cold, but good. My ribs feel better already."

Theo smiled, a hint of relief in his eyes. "Good. We need to keep that inflammation down. Let me know if the pain gets worse."

She nodded, closing her eyes, and leaning her head back. The sounds of the paddock were muffled, around her. She focused on her breathing, the cold water soothing her aching muscles and calming her mind.

"Alright, that's enough. Let's get you out and warmed up."

Aelina opened her eyes and nodded as she stood up. Theo handed her a thick towel, which she wrapped around herself gratefully.
