I woke up abruptly to the blaring alarm on my phone. Groaning, I slowly sat up on the bed, rubbing my eyes as I reached to turn off the alarm. Glancing at the time - 6:30 am- I sighed, already considering going to bed so that I wouldn't deal with an angry witch.

But, of course, I couldn't do that.

I stood up from the bed, expecting myself to feel like a corpse which dried out in a month or two, however, I felt more energetic. I did go to bed at 3 am, right? Shrugging it off, I decided to go to the bathroom to freshen up and from there prepare myself to leave.

As I approached the door, I was startled by the sound of loud shouting echoing through the apartment. "YOU DAMN CAT! LOOK WHAT YOU DID!" The voice belonged to that demon-thing. Why was he causing such a commotion at 6 in the morning? What if the neighbours heard him and came to complain? Then I remembered he was invisible, and his outbursts couldn't be heard by anyone but me. Sometimes I feel like an idiot...

With a resigned sigh, I exited my bedroom and entered the living room, where chaos seemed to be unfolding. When I walked in, I saw Oreo happily tearing the demon's jacket. The sight was a little comical..well, at least for me.

"What happened?" I asked, trying to suppress my laughter as I approached the scene.

Error shot me a glare, his frustration evident. "Your devilish cat is tearing my jacket! Make him stop!" he exclaimed, pointing accusingly at Oreo, who continued to play innocently with the fabric.

I was still half-asleep to process his words. But then realization hit me. "Aren't you... supposed to be like a ghost? Like, objects go through you and stuff? Why can Oreo tear your jacket?" I asked, puzzled by the situation.

"Like I said, I'm not a ghost. I can always make myself--- STOP!! I WON'T BE ABLE TO SALVAGE THIS!!!" Error's distress was palpable as he rushed towards Oreo, hoping to retrieve his jacket, but my baby held his ground, hissing defiantly and batting at the demon's outstretched hand. It appeared that my little baby had found its new toy. Sorry, demon.

Frustrated, Error reluctantly retreated, shooting a glare at Oreo as if silently conceding defeat. "Fine, keep it," he muttered begrudgingly, shaking his head in disbelief. "Fucking devil in disguise."

As I watched the scene unfold, I was silently cheering Oreo on. That's my baby!  When Error gave up, I couldn't let an opportunity like that one slip. I had to mock him! If he gets to mock me, then I get to do it as well!

"You lost to a cat, how embarrassing," I remarked with a chuckle, unable to contain my amusement at the absurdity of the situation.

"Shut up," the skeleton shot me an angry stare, then crossed his arms in frustration. "Even you won't be able to retrieve it." His words were tinged with defeat, a stark contrast to his usual confident demeanour.

I had to raise a brow for this one. With confidence, I approached my little troublemaker and gently patted his head. With that simple distraction, I managed to retrieve the torn-up jacket. Turning around, I couldn't help but notice the surprised and dumbfounded expressions on Error's face, which only fueled my amusement. "You were saying?" I taunted.

Error's pride seemed wounded by my success, his tone defensive as he brushed off my triumph. "You just got lucky," he grumbled, attempting to salvage his pride despite the undeniable evidence of his defeat.

As I approached to give him the jacket, the sudden doorbell rang, halting me. Feeling a sense of annoyance at the interruption, I hurried to the front door and peered through the spyglass to see my neighbour from upstairs, Karen, standing outside. Ugh... As you might guess, she was a Karen AND her name was Karen. A coincidence, wouldn't ya say?
