"Finally!" I exclaimed after walking out of the building. "Freedom!"

Danny and Blake started chuckling at my joke. I smiled, happy to have brighten their moods.

"So, what are y'all going to do now?" Blake inquired, casting a glance towards us.

I pondered, emitting a thoughtful 'hm' sound. I could go to a bar and get myself drunk and probably end up in someone's bed or lay on my own...

Danny, as though he had discerned my thoughts, shot me an angry glance. "You're not going to get wasted, Ian."

I sighed, raising my hands in surrender. "Well, I suppose that plan's out the window."

Blue smirked while crossing his hands. "Dream has a point, you know.. You should get your beauty sleep; you really need it."

I squinted my eyes. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Oh, nothing~" He flashed an innocent smile. Knowing he was just teasing, I shook my head in amusement.

As Danny's phone rang, he stepped aside to check the caller ID. Meanwhile, Blake and I discussed our plans for the following day. We had a shooting scene scheduled from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., leaving the rest of the day free. I proposed the idea of catching a movie or taking a stroll in the newly constructed park. Blue was open to both suggestions, leaving the final decision up to Danny.

When Dream walked towards us, he asked "My brother's picking me up. Do you want us to give you two a ride home?"

"Nah, I'll walk. I need to clear my head," I declined, feeling the need for some fresh air. These past weeks had been either stressful or exhausting.

"I don't mind," Blue agreed.

"Oh, okay," Dream responded, turning to me with a concerned expression. "You sure, Ink? I don't want you walking in the darkness."

"I'll be fine, Dream. Plus, I've been learning karate!" I struck a pose, sharing a laugh with my friends.

"Okay then..." Danny smiled faintly, though I sensed his lingering concern, echoed by Blake's worried expression.

But they shouldn't fret over me so much. If anything were to happen, I could always call the police or attempt to defend myself... At least, I could give it a shot.

I waited with them for Noah, aka Nightmare, to arrive. We call him Nightmare because he'd literally give anyone nightmares if they piss him off... Other than that, he's quite caring for his twin brother. We don't get to see him often but from what Dream told us, he had finally finished university and became a successful lawyer.

After ten minutes of waiting, Noah had arrived. He parked right in front of the studio, where usually Jasmine would park.

"Brother!" Danny called out to him as Noah was exiting the vehicle.

"Hey, sorry for making y'all waiting." He apologized, and then greeted me and Blake. "Good evening Ian, Blake."
