Ruby: "Sounds more like a family heirloom to me!"
She nudged Hadryn's arm playfully, causing him to fall silent, which he didnt feel much, But his silence was more prominant than usual upon earing Ruby's comment.
Hadryn: "..."
((Opening))Am I lost in a somber dream's embrace,Or simply numbed by stone's cold trace?A sliver of sense clings to my right hand,This throbbing power, my life's lone strand. In dreams, you linger, ever so near,Will my hiraeth bring forth your tear?Embrace me close, dispel my fright,
Erase the future once foretold,End this sorrow that I hold.Dreams of youth, now chains that bind,Drag me down, leave marks behind. In shadows cast, my form is etched,By your presence, forever sketched.
My blood's hue, a mystery untold—Red, black, or white, it's bold.Prepared I stand, foes yet unseen,Should chaos reign, will you intervene?
In my right hand, Deep rooted anger grows.A pain that stirs, and keeps me on my toes.Has madness claimed my weary mind? This agony, through my veins, it unwinds.
((Opening close))
As they continued their journey around Beacon Academy, The academy was a sight to behold, its grandeur and beauty unparalleled. The walls of the academy were adorned with scenic trees, their leaves a vibrant contrast to the stretched out blue sky above, The dark scene of the intro
fades away to the Trio who continued to walk down Beacon's pathways.
Ruby: "Well, I like it! Not many people have an appreciation for the classics these days. Only other person i know still those is Hadryn, With his Inquisitor Greatsword"Jaune: "Yeah, the classics..."
Hadryn, with a hint of uncertainty in his voice, began to explain,
His gaze flickering from Ruby to Juane's eyes through his guise.
Hadryn: "Hmm... Well, I'm not particularly adept at answering, but Inquisitor was made from Akhlymerean steel, as well as Lead-Saturn, the same material that was primarily used in the construction of Crescent Rose-"Suddenly, Ruby cut him off, her eyes lighting up as she remembered something she had forgotten to mention.
Ruby: "Oh! Uh, both of us made Crimson Rose. Forgot to mention heh heh," she said, a sheepish grin on her face, chuckling nervously at her oversight.Unfazed by the interruption, Hadryn continued his explanation, maintaining his calm and composed demeanor but not without sharing a glance in her direction
Hadryn: "Inquisitor is a great fire conductor, as more than half the thing is made from charred steel. Other than that... it's a greatsword..."Jaune, intrigued by Hadryn's weapon, asked,
Juane: "Hmm... looks pretty heavy. How do you manage that? Cause from my perspective, you are jacked, dude."
He scanned Hadryn's armor, noting the sturdy bulk behind it. He also noticed the way Hadryn walked - each step was firm and deliberate, as if he was under strain but pushed regardless.Hadryn hummed to himself before answering, dispelling juanes curiousity.
Hadryn: "Feels heavy in the beginning, but I've gotten used to it."Ruby, sensing Hadryn's social awkwardness, and feeling somewhat enamored by it, decided to intervene before he could get caught up in an internal conflict. She quickly moved to stand between Juane and Hadryn, speaking out before either of them could question her intentions.
ruby: "So why'd you get caught up in the explosion back there? In the courtyard?"
she asked, turning the conversation to a different topic.Jaune, a bit taken aback by her sudden question, answered casually,
Juane: "Eh, saw a group of people, and thought maybe I'd look cool if I mediated the situation, make a bunch of friends at once."
He shrugged, a nonchalant expression on his face.
