((Opening))
Am I lost in a somber dream's embrace, Or simply numbed by stone's cold trace? A sliver of sense clings to my right hand, This throbbing power, my life's lone strand. In dreams, you linger, ever so near, Will my hiraeth bring forth your tear? Embrace me close, dispel my fright,
Erase the future once foretold, End this sorrow that I hold. Dreams of youth, now chains that bind, Drag me down, leave marks behind. In shadows cast, my form is etched, By your presence, forever sketched.
My blood's hue, a mystery untold—Red, black, or white, it's bold. Prepared I stand, foes yet unseen, Should chaos reign, will you intervene?
if I closed my eyes and tried to think again, Would i be stained with blood?
In my grasp, Deep rooted anger grows. . .((Opening close))
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________The camera zoomed in on Nora Valkyrie's vibrant turquoise eyes, sparkling with the thrill of her fantastical tale. With a flourish, she slammed her hand down on the table, sending a tremor through the mismatched assortment of plates and cups.
Nora: "So! There we were, in the dead of night..."
she declared, her voice ringing with dramatic flair. A dry cough interrupted her. Ren's voice, laced with a hint of exasperation, drifted in from off-screen.
Ren: "It was actually daytime, Nora."
Nora, unfazed, continued her story, completely ignoring Ren's correction.
Nora: "We were surrounded by a horde of Ursai,"
she bellowed, her voice building to a dramatic crescendo. Her gaze swept across the table, searching for an audience.Blake Belladonna, however, remained engrossed in her book, her ears politely deaf to Nora's boisterous narration. Only Yang Xiao Long seemed genuinely captivated. Leaning forward, her hands cupped around her face, she hung onto every word, a picture of enthusiastic awe.
Ruby Rose, ever the optimist, offered a polite smile, but her attention kept drifting towards a distant Jaune Arc. His head hung low, his fork listlessly scraping at his food. A flicker of concern flitted across her silver eyes. Pyrrha Nikos seemed to share Ruby's concern, casting a worried glance in Jaune's direction.
Weiss Schnee, the epitome of elegance, couldn't be bothered. With a disdainful sniff, she focused on meticulously filing her nails, the clicking of the nail file the only sound competing with Nora's booming voice.
Nora: "Dozens of them!"
Nora roared, her voice reaching a fever pitch.
Nora: "But they were no match for our combined might!"
She slammed her fist on the table again, this time causing a plate to wobble precariously. Ren sighed, his voice tinged with weariness.
Ren: "Nora,"
he interjected, holding up his coffee cup in a gesture of surrender.
Ren: "There were actually only two Beowolves."
Nora's eyes widened momentarily as Ren drank from his coffee, but she quickly recovered, her enthusiasm undimmed.
Nora: "Two ferocious Ursai!"
she countered, waving Ren's correction dismissively.
Nora: "But in the end, Ren and I, with our unmatched teamwork and tactical brilliance, vanquished them both!"
Ruby and Pyrrha exchanged a hesitant glance, their smiles strained. Their concern for Jaune outweighed their amusement at Nora's story.Across the table, Hadryn sat hunched over, a sigh escaping the vents on his faceplate. He hadn't been served any food at this table, still feeling the pangs of hunger gnawing at his stomach ever since the grueling initiation trials. Nora's fantastical tale, while entertaining, did little to alleviate his empty stomach.
