'--///Hadryn: Sweet dreams. . ."///--'

And soon... Within Ruby Rose's slumber, Within her approaching sleep she heard the rustle of leaves, The gentle sway of the wind. the veil between reality and dreams grew thin.

The rustle of leaves whispered secrets, and the wind carried memories. She felt the gentle sway, like a lullaby, pulling her deeper into the dream.

Around her, The scene and dreamscape was one of her most unforgettable memories.
A staple in her childhood... She felt the soft caress of a warm hand on her shoulder, And Summer rose stood over her, A smile that only a mother with a caring warmth lay buried deep into her soul could show.

Summer: "Ruby, Dont get too lost okay dear?"

The voices of her family—Summer Rose, Taiyang, and Yang—merged with the breeze. Their laughter echoed through the dream, a symphony of love and warmth.

a vision of maternal grace. Her smile held the wisdom of ages, a warmth that reached Ruby's very soul. The touch of her hand on Ruby's shoulder was a benediction—a promise that love transcended even death.

Yet despite her voice, She had no mouth, Her face was a thumbprint in the dark. Even so, The faint features of her face was present. Silvery scratches became clear eyes. And her face was visible now. she wore a happy and content smile

Taiyang: "Wonderful day, Bet these little warriors might want to go on an adventure aye?"

Beside her, Taiyang walked as well, Taking in the familiar serenity of the Island of Patch. The roads of dead grass and dirt stretched for hours through the forests, The hills and alongside the rivers croaking with life.

Beside her, Was Yang, Still as outgoing as she is even in the dream.

Yang: "You know it dad!"

They walked for awhile, The dream lasting what felt like blissful, yet missing hours, The sun shined high and baskfully above the family. doing what any happy and caring family would, With Ruby's eyes drawn to the flowers and blades of grass that passed by her feet. the chatter of Summer rose, The comedic remarks from Taiyang, and the fiery wanderlust of Yang.

Time fluid, stretching like taffy. The sun hung high, casting golden hues over their family tableau. Ruby's heart swelled—this was what happiness felt like. The chatter of Summer Rose, the comedic banter from Taiyang, and Yang's boundless energy—it was a good day.

The dream shifted. A breeze stirred, light and insistent. Their surroundings dimmed, the colors fading. Limbo encircled them, a place of uncertainty. How far had they walked? How long had they journeyed? There were no markers, no signs—only the weight of existence.

Their skin and flesh began to feel heavy, An uncomfortable weight, Their surroundings were becoming dim, quiet. It felt almost like limbo. There was no way in telling how far the family walked or for how long their journey was. But it ended on an eerie tone right then and there, The lack of any sign or life was eerie and ominous...

Only the wavering aura the thing produced, a flicker of crimson and obsidian. The world held its breath, waiting. The creature stood before them, its gaze burning black. Ruby's instincts flared—danger, threat—but the raw emotion was elusive. Fear? Anger? They couldn't name it.

The day was calm, far calmer than it should be. The wind was eerily quiet, and you couldn't even hear crickets singing in this silence filled night.

Only the stiff and raging aura lit the ground, The world was quiet, even quiet enough for the family to hear the creatures own laboured footsteps... and the only steps they could hear... were drawing fraily closer Instinctively.

Summer: "kids... Get behind us..."
her golden axe gleaming. The weight of responsibility settled on her shoulders. She would protect them, no matter the cost. But the creature remained inscrutable, its form sharp-edged, hunched from exhaustion, its breath labored. Yet despite this, The festering raw emotion felt as they gazed upon the creature was... unknown. They didnt know what to feel...

The thing of red and black gazed up. lumbering a sharp mass with bated breathes behind it. The land looked much more barren than it had any right being. The sky was clear, the ground was flat, but there wasn't so much as a flower or a blade of grass to be seen. Sunk beneath the earth in fear, It had all vanished... Nothing except for the red stars in the sky, The Family. The moonlight... The crooked figure... and that ever so eerie moon.

And yet all that stood ahead of her... Ruby knew...That the being before her... Was lost. scared. and hurt... She knew...

That she can trust the child in wolves skin...

Ruby: "Are. . . Are you lost?"

Am I lost in a somber dream's embrace, Or simply numbed by stone's cold trace? A sliver of sense clings to my right hand, This throbbing power, my life's lone strand. In dreams, you linger, ever so near, Will my hiraeth bring forth your tear? Embrace me close, dispel my fright,

Erase the future once foretold, End this sorrow that I hold. Dreams of youth, now chains that bind, Drag me down, leave marks behind. In shadows cast, my form is etched, By your presence, forever sketched.

My blood's hue, a mystery untold—Red, black, or white, it's bold. Prepared I stand, foes yet unseen, Should chaos reign, will you intervene?

if I closed my eyes and tried to think again, Would i be stained with blood?

((Opening close))

Ruby lay there, cocooned in the warmth of her dreams. The real world seemed distant, a mere echo of existence. Her mouth hung slightly ajar, a delicate trail of drool escaping the corner of her lips. But then, like a thunderclap shattering glass, the tranquility shattered.

A hyperactive girl's chatter pierced Ruby's dreamscape, jolting her awake. A Loud morning person that was sure to wake everyone and Ruby was no exception.

Ruby: "H-Huh? Ah!"
Ruby's eyes snapped open, and she rubbed them vigorously, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. The auditorium's cold floor pressed against her back, a stark contrast to the dreamy warmth she'd just left behind.

Still in the auditorium. And she heard the many other students who were still sleeping on the floor groan and some even yell for the ginger to shut up.But steadily. Few by few the people around her, other students stirred, groaning and muttering as they roused from their slumber. The sun's rays streamed through the tall windows, casting long rectangles of light across the room.
