I could feel the trembling die down.
Maybe he is also afraid of going beserk.
He might be afraid of any meaningful relationship we make to fall apart.Could this be the reason why the endermen never spoke to anyone? could they be aware of the rage that afflicts them? Knowing that even one moment of direct eye contact nothing from before will matter as they can't help but attack the one unfortunate perciever.
"Can you help me?" the tall monster asked in raspy whispers.
He seemed more confident but was still a shy soul at heart.
"Of course, what do you want help with? I'll try my best."
"Outside. Back to surface." I expected something like that. He probably dislikes this cramped and dreary tunnel he's been trapped in for who knows how long..."That sounds do-able. When I'm done with my work here you can just walk right out."
The crature said nothing but I cold tell he was apprechiating my help. I guess he wasn't fluent in my language. Enderman must be learning it by observing us Players. Another reason that makes this meeting significant. He must have learned a lot of our language to communicate on this level.
