The surface beneath you felt a lot more comfortable than your bed. That was the first thing you noticed when you started to wake up. Before you even opened your eyes you knew you weren't on your bed and you weren't in your apartment.

How? Well for starters you don't remember leaving Sakusa's last night. Secondly, there was a smell of something cooking wafting through the air. And you weren't the one cooking.

When you slowly opened your eyes you were greeted with the plain white ceiling--accompanied by the bright light from the giant window to the right of the couch.

The glare of the sun caught you by surprise and provoked a frown out of you. Making you sit up quickly as well.

"Good morning L/n," Sakusa's distinct monotone voice greeted from the kitchen—behind where you were.

Hearing his voice first thing in the morning brought warmth to your face. Or maybe it was the sun hitting you from through the window.

"Good morning," you returned before a yawn slipped past your lips.

You turned to find Sakusa standing at the island counter moving food from a pan to two separate plates. "How'd you sleep?" he asks. "How about you?" You return with a stretch of your arms once your head.

"Not too bad," he replied curtly. "What are you making?" you ask before standing up to walk toward the kitchen. "Breakfast," he furrows his brows moving the pan he had a grip on over to two plates that already had food on them.

You didn't want to ask a question that had an obvious answer but you did it anyway. "For both of us?"

The man pauses and gives you a confused glance, "Yeah, for both of us," he confirms with a slow nod. The food smells good and you eye the two plates and it looks like something you'd make for yourself. A simple breakfast, it looked like he had made tamagoyaki. With rice on the side.

"Do you mind if I head over to my place to take a shower quickly?" you ask trying not to seem impolite. "I just don't want to be in these clothes any longer," you explain.

"Oh I have a second bathroom you can shower here," he suggests setting down the pan.

Your eyes slightly widen which Sakusa misses as he turns to grab the plates and bring them closer. "Oh yeah that's nice but I don't have a change of clothes here,"
