28 :: THE PRESIDENT II

-Precilla-

Empty and wet ground are the first thing who welcomed me when I return to the place where I first saw Avellaneda. Four vampires with a suffocating presence are standing in the middle where some Arrejovic vampires who still doesn't turned into an ash are still laying.

Red glowing eyes, fangs out, long bloody nails, positioned like they're going to attack some more and red veins that are now visible in their body. You can already know how strong they are just by looking at them. All their gazes went to me when they felt my presence but, Argus the one who first saw me immediately looked away.

"Precilla! What happened?" si Azuri ang unang nakapansin at kaagad lumapit sa akin. She used her large kimono that's covering her upper body to cover my naked self. She's now wearing a fabric black tube while wearing a wide leg black pants.

"Thanks, you can look now Argus." I spoke. Kaagad naman siyang lumingon sa akin, tumango ito at lumapit sa puwesto namin.

"Did we managed to kill them all?" si Argus na nakakunot ang noo habang inililibot sa buong paligid ang paningin.

"I think, yes?" si Vanessa habang nakangiwi. Hindi inaalintana ang mga sugat na natamo sa kaniyang pakikipaglaban.

"So, where are we going now?" si Azuri na pinagmamasdan ang mga sugat na unti-unting sumasara.

"Just like what I said yesterday, we're going to an extinct station...where the president live." I spoke nonchalantly while looking at them. I saw there expressions changed.

"Ha? Ano ang ibig mong sabihin? You mean... dito nakatira ang presidente?" si Tisiphone na kapwa nanlalaki ang mga mata. Tumango ako at tiningnan ang isang maduming pader.

"Tisiphone..." I called her which she immediately responded.

"You can use the divine element, am I right?" tumango ito sa sinabi ko.

"And Vanessa..." lumingon naman siya sa akin. "You can use pressure, yes?" kagaya ni Tisiphone ay tumango ito.

"I want the two of you to combine your skills, both time and pressure. We can use it to see where the President lair is." I command them. Umatras ang dalawa at pumikit.

They're concentrating, seconds later some of their hair float as a weird aura enveloped the whole place. Sabay-sabay na napunta ang aming mga paningin sa isang lumang pader na mayroong mga lumot. Maya-maya pa ay lumiwanag ang pader. I walk towards the wall and place my hand, a sudden force took me inside the wall. Inaasahan ko na iyon. 

Sumunod naman sa akin ang apat at narinig ko ang kanilang pagkamangha ng makita nila ang buong paligid.

There was a lot of wisteria tree that is formed into a line and in the middle of it was a black lane that is made from rocks. Dumaan kami sa gitna niyon habang pinagmamasdan ang buong paligid. It was a secret station.

Iinilibot ko ang aking paningin ng makarating kami sa dulo at isang kulay itim na mansiyon ang aking nakita. The design was all black, even the pillars. The windows are huge and a black thick curtains was covering the inside. The mansion also had a stairs. There was also a fountain where statue of a woman who was wearing a pure black dress is standing. Her left hand in her heart and the right hand was lifted. Mayroong butas ang kaniya kamay na nakataas na pinanggagalingan ng tubig pababa sa fountain. She was also wearing a crown and in her forehead was a six stars that formed in a circle.

I know this woman.

It's Nix, the titania of darkness.

I bowed my head so as my comrades to her statue to show our respect.

"Oh, so you kids are here?" a familiar voice of a woman spoke. There is no other than the president. She smirks at us.

"You wouldn't be here if you didn't kill the eidolist." she spoke and I nodded.

"Eidolist?" sabay-sabay na sambit ng mga kasama ko habang nakakunot ang noo.

Right, they're not there when I fought the snake woman.

"If I'm not mistaken, Eidolist are the women who was granted by Medusa's blessings to avenge themselves, yes? Mayroon rin ata silang... ahas? Ahas ba 'yon?" takang tanong ni Vanessa sa kaniyang isipan. "Serpent! Ayun! Serpent! Mayroon silang loyal pet na serpent, 'yun ang tumutulong sa kanila sa pagbibiktima 'di ba?" dagdag niya pa, I nodded at her statement.

"Why don't you kids go inside?" anyaya ng presidente na agad naming pinaunlakan.

We entered the mansion and the first thing who welcomed us are the black staircase that's leading to the second floor. There's also a lot of painting of gods and goddesses in the wall and a statues of them. This mansion looks like a gothic museum because of the designs and things that are in here.

"Don't touch anything." paalala lang presidente habang paakyat kami sa second floor. Tahimik lamang kaming pinagmamasdan ang buong paligid na puno ng mga mukha ng mga diyosa at diyosa.

Nang makarating kami sa second floor ay mayroong mga artificial coffin na mayroong mga pulang kurtinang nakaharang sa mga ito. Before I could speak something the president cutted me off.

"Don't worry, if you feel the suffocating presence of each of them don't worry. It's normal." napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi nito.

"What do you mean it's normal?" si Azuri ang nagtanong habang nakatingin sa isang kabaong.

"They are the strongest Vamp, sleeping. So..." napahinto ito, "better not to wake them." I was shocked but I didn't make it visible.

"What happened to them?" tanong ko kay Anora na kasalukuyang humihipak sa kaniyang tabacco.

"You see," binuksan niya ang itim na pintuan at bumungad sa amin ang lamesang parihaba at sa gitna niyon ay mayroong mga nakahandang baso, plato at mga kutsara. Walang laman ang mga iyon at parang isang disenyo lamang. "Those vamp are the one who got injured badly when the first war has occurred." nagulat kami sa salitang lumabas sa kaniyang bibig.

"The first war had occured? Since when?!" si Vanessa na medyo napataas ang boses.

"Hm, last 17 years?" napaisip-isip ito. Last 17 years? I remember that year! It was when the first eclipse occured and it's also the day when my mother and father got separated... from me.
