I was waiting for 5:40 to roll around. In the mean time I passed the time by looking at old photographs of me and my family.

I smiled at the pictures of me and my sister, because most of my happy childhood memories were of with her. Our parents hardly ever spent time with us, and when they did, it was to scold us or tell us what we did was hardly impressive or good enough. My mother was a marine biologist while my father is an impressive lawyer.

They always expected us to follow in their footsteps. So imagine their immense disappointment when their youngest daughter chose to become an actress instead. They called me worthless and stupid, and said I would never get anywhere in life. Lucky for me, Aguri-oneechan supported me unconditionally. She gave me the love and support my parents couldn't give me

As soon as the digital clock beside me rang 5:40, I closed my photo album and left my home to walk to the park.

At exactly 6:00pm I had arrived at the fountain, and right on time just like me was Nagisa.

He blushed at the sight of me. "You look nice" he commented. I smiled even wider. "You too" I told him, he wore a blue button up shirt and black trousers, his hair was pulled back to a low ponytail.

I felt an overwhelming wave of affection wash over me. I'm going on another date, and this time it's an official one, with the boy I'm in love with. I really should thank Karma for this.

Hours later, we are now walking around the park, eating pork barbecue and drinking sprite. The date was pretty casual, and sweet. Nagisa was so sweet to me the entire time, and whenever I'd cough, he'd look alarmed and worried. Probably remember when he witnessed me vomiting flowers. Thank goodness the date went by without any problems and I didn't cough out bloody flowers.

We reached a cute little bridge and looked down at our reflection in the pond. "Hey, Kayano?" Nagisa began. I looked at him "Yeah?" I asked. "You're in love with someone right?" He asked me.

"Yeah I am" it's you. "Why?"

"Then why did you ask to go on a date with me?" Nagisa looked saddened. "Oh, uh" I blushed and tried to come up with an excuse. Nagisa you dense idiot, you haven't figured out that it's you I love? "I should ask you the same question, you know I'm in love with someone else, why did you agree to go out with me?"

Nagisa blinked. "Huh? But, didn't you say you wanted to hang out again? With me, your friend that you really liked"

"I-- uhh yeah I said that!" I giggled awkwardly. "But thinking about it now, it was actually Karma who set us up huh"

"Yeah, Karma did" Nagisa agreed.

We fell into silence for a few moments, only the sound of our chewing could be heard, as well as the sound of crickets and a few birds.

"Kayano, tell me the truth" Nagisa looked serious, and determined. I'm nervous. "Why are we on this date if you have feelings for someone else?"

I bite my lower lips. "For practice" I lied, sighing heavily.

Nagisa paused. "....Practice?"

"Y-yeah I'm..I'm practicing being more confident in myself, what I should and shouldn't say, and you're my friend so I'm comfortable practicing what I should do with you" I smiled at him. "I would imagine that the person I love is with me by replacing you with his face! Hehe" I chuckled out.

"I'm just...practice to you?" He said slowly. I blinked "Nagisa what's wrong?"

"N-nothing I just, I need to go home now, sorry" without another word the blue haired boy ran off leaving me alone. "Nagisa! Wait!" I called out to him but he didn't stop or looked back at me.

I felt confused and anxious. "Nagisa?"
