I made it around the block twice without falling, not trusting my luck to last much longer I started back home.
Once home, I sat on the bottom step of my porch and started to take off my roller skates, when my little sister Christina came up to me.
"Oooo. I want to try." She exclaimed excitingly. Why does everyone seem so excited about roller skating, like its the most amazing thing ever? Why doesn't Mom get HER some roller skates, since she thinks it's SOOO interesting. I criticized in my head.
"No." I told her, continuing to take off my skates.
"Please, pretty please. I won't ask for anyth-"
"I said, NO!!" I said firmly, cutting her off.
She stood there, shock written on her features. Then after a few seconds, tears welled up in her eyes. She runs off, still crying.
"Christina." I called after her. I sighed. I am sooo grounded.
