The next morning I woke up at noon.

Today I am suppose to start lessons roller skating. I just hope that I won't hurt myself... or fall for that matter. I thought. Who was I kidding. With the way my luck has been acting, I was bound to fall.

I don't know what I did to deserve this but from the way that this is unfolding, it must have been huge for this punishment.

Sitting on my porch, I put on the roller skates that Mom bought yesterday. They are white and cotton candy purple with a beautiful diamond flower on the side of each skate, and diamonds circled around the bottom of the skate. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. Mom has really good taste. Gosh, she knows me so well. I always have to have something sparkly no matter what I do, or where I am going. I don't know why, it's just who I am.

When I was finally done putting on the skates, I got up slowly trying really hard not to fall. When I started to wobble and slide forward, I clutched onto the railing for dear life.

Oh My Gosh, Oh My Gosh,Oh My Gosh. I thought with my eyes tightly closed. I opened one eye, peeking a look around before opening the other.

I don't know what I expected. Maybe for me to zoom off and end up in Wonderland.

Drama Queen. I told myself.

I took a deep breath. "Okay. You can do this." I encouraged myself. I carefully took a step forward staying close to anything stable for balance.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. I thought to myself, it was like riding on air. I relaxed.
