Joel's Obsession

Kinabukasan ay sabay na silang dalawa ni Sienna pumasok sa trabaho pero siya ay dumiritso na sa press conference room. Pagpasok niya ay marami nang camera ang nasa paligid at may mga reporter na rin.

"Good Day, everyone. Today is the day of our press conference to Mr. Sean Sy, the Business owner of few restaurants, hotels, and furnitures in the Philippines," sabi ng MC

Nagpalakpakan naman ang mga tao. Si Sienna naman palihim na nanonood ng press conference, para makaiwas kay Joel.

"Here's my first question Mr. Sy. this is all about business, so when it comes to business how did you handle stress? you know multiple businesses is also stressing,"

Sean took the microphone
"As a business man, hindi naman palaging work na lang. Of course, we need to unwind, we need to take care of ourselves, and we also need time for ourselves. I think that's how I handle my stress, I think most people do that," paliwanag niya

Another reporter asked
"Here is your next question, naranasan mo na bang malugi sa kompanya"

"Actually, doon naman nagsimula ang lahat. I have my humble beginnings na kung saan gumagawa ako ng negosyo na nalugi. That time padalos-dalos ako kasi ayokong umasa sa business ng parents ko, that's why I have to create my own business. But my determination, hard work and consistency made my business successful. Well, it's not easy to run for a business. Dapat you have your critical thinking din," sagot niya

Nagpalakpakan naman ang mga tao
"I love how you answer that question" komento ng isa sa mga reporter

"So tapos na tayo sa ating business related questions. Let's move on to personal questions"

Tumayo ang isang reporter na naka eyeglasses at kinuha ang microphones
"So, Mr. Sy. What is the greatest challenge or struggle you have ever faced? I think we all know that, but I want you to answer my question"

"Everyone knows about this, but I also want to answer this question to clarify and for my statement. Yeah, the most greatest challenge or struggled I have faced is, losing my wife. My wife died a month ago." napahinto siya at tumingin sa maraming tao

Bumuntong hininga siya at nagsalita ulit
"It's hard, imagine you lose someone who is there for you everytime, everyday and everywhere. Parang may kulang na eh, never na mabubuo, kasi 'yong taong pumupuno non, wala na. She's gone forever."

He chuckled and wipe his tears.
"Okay, next question" sabi niya

Tumayo naman ang isang matanda para magbigay ng tanong "Do you think of getting married again? or wanted a kid kung buhay pa ang asawa mo?"

Nag iisip muna siya ng isasagot, hindi niya alam kung sasabihin niya ba ito o hindi
"Actually, I don't think of getting married again, for me walang makakapalit sa asawa ko rito sa puso ko. And yeah, I wanted kung buhay pa siya, siguro kung buhay lang siya this year ata ang plan for a baby. Pero ngayon, parang ayokong magka-anak sa ibang babae"

"I respect your decision, Mr. Sy" sabi naman nilang lahat "What about your relationship with your sister in-law? how was it?"

"Uhm, we are good. Nagkakasundo naman kami sa negosyo. We treat each other as good friends or sister since kapatid naman siya ng asawa ko,"

After the press conference Sienna went back to her office to rest, pakiramdam niya ang inaantok na naman siya kahit wala siyang masyadong ginagawa.

"Rachel, pwede bili mo ako ng mangga. 'Yong hilaw ah tapos asin saka alamang na rin" utos niya kay Rachel

Kumuha pa siya ng pera sa wallet niya at binigay kay Rachel
"Bakit ngayon lang kita napansing nagpapabili ng mangga? eh hindi ka naman masyadong kumakain non kapag hilaw pa,"
