Connor's Pov

I was beyond excited for sword training today, since Lily's sparring partner, Clarisse, was in the infirmary for a fight with Percy earlier today, and she got "accidentally waterboarded" by the Poseidon's kid.

Anyways, back to the point.

This meant that I would be the one to spar with Lily, since I was the best in that class after Clarisse.

Plus, Lily really isn't the best swordsman, so this is a chance for me to impress her; I get the feeling she sees me just as an underdeveloped prankster who hates her.

Weird, I wonder where she got that from.

Infact, I am EXTREMELY smart, I am the mastermind of most of the famous Stoll pranks after all.

I kinda felt bad for her this morning, when I saw her outside of the Aphrodite's cabin, I know how much she cares about her hair, and seeing it that messy I felt like I should say sorry.

But a Stoll does not apologize for a prank, that would hurt mine and Travis's reputation.

Ok, so we all get in pairs, and of course the leader of the group puts me and Lily together.

We stand in front of each other, and I feel the need to get a bit closer to her, just enough to smell her hand-made perfume of forget me nots and vanilla.

Damn, Travis was right, I really am whipped about this girl.

She looks at me and smirks. "Prepare to loose Stoll".

She gets in the attack pose, and lunges towards me.

I, being the talented demi god I am, move out the way, wrap my word next to hers, and disharm her in a matter of seconds.

"Huh, I guess you underestimated me again, Marny" "There are many things u underestimate about me" I say smirking and getting slightly closer.

She looks at me dumfounded, jaw slightly agape, and next to her, a small daisy sprouts.

She stepped on it.

"There is no way you- how did that- what the fuck- umm" She looks at me and then her sword on the ground.

"Not used to loosing are you" I say laughing.

"ok, rematch right now, there is absolutely no way I am losing to u Connor". The look of immediate regret on her face after calling me Connor was seriously one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

And that is a LOT coming from me.

"Connor huh, first name basis already, I knew it wouldn't take long for you to fall for me" I say, putting a hand on my heart and the other on my forehead, acting like I fell in love.

Which in reality, I might have.

"In your dreams, perv" she says, flashing me a competitive grin.

Wow, I think in my head.

While picking up her sword, I turn around and quickly realize that everyone else in the course was staring at us.

I burst out laughing, noticing how the course was already almost over.

"Hey Marny, how about we have that rematch later today" I whisper in her ear, smirking, because I know just how much my smirk annoys her.

"Um, Yh yh sure, later" She turns around, whipping her in my face.

NOW, that is a lethal weapon, especially if hits you in the eye.

Lily's Pov

There is no way that just happened.

Ok so, first I was humiliated infront of everyone after loosing against baby Stoll, which is already embarrassing enough by itself.

But then he had the AUDACITY to ask for a rematch too?

I am not gonna let him win, and most of all I WILL NOT GET THE FLIRTING GET IN MY WAY.

He is Connor Stoll dammit, plus I do not wanna say Pip was right.

I walk over to Julia and Alice's cabin, where they are running around playing hide and seek with some younger campers.

"Hey guys, is it okay if I talk to you two quickly?" I grab them both by the arm, dragging them forcefully outside, while they wine about how they were about to win the game for like the 7th time in a row.

"Ok what's the matter Lily" Julia looks at me curious.

"baby Stoll just beat me in front of everyone, and proceeded to ask me to see him later for a "rematch"".

"OH MY GODS, UR GOING ON A DATE WITH HIM?!" they both ask, staring at me, with their jaws dropped, eyes sparkling with mischief.

They started laughing histerically, and I joined them.

"NO, NO, AND NO. It is not a date, it's just an oppurtinity for another prank probably; I grabbed you guys out here because I need you guys to be my spies, and figure out what sick prank they have planned for tonight, ok?" I say, arms crossed and resting my weight on one hip.

"Yes ma'am, we'll tell you what your boyfriend is planning for your first date"  says Alice giggling, and almost tripping Julia while the two walked away laughing and not being able to walk straight.

I watch as they walk away, laughing a bit myself.

What I had I just gotten myself into.

I walk back to my cabin, and Katie immediately runs towards me.

"Hey Lily-Flower, Connor was looking for you, he asked me if I knew where you were, what is going on? She asked, raising her eyebrow.

I quickly tell her the situation, and she has the same reaction as Julia and Alice.

She calls over everyone from our "gang" as she calls it, and they all decided to treat me like their little dress-up doll.

I walked out my cabin, wearing a low cut shirt, shorts, makeup, and a shit ton of jewellery on me.

They insisted that I had to distract Connor with my "beauty" so I could win during the match, which I can't lie, shocked me.

Like, I am literally the best swordsman around, from like ever, right?
