Connor's Pov

It had been two days since the incident.

The blandest two days of his life.

Me and Travis were still pulling pranks on almost every cabin, and don't get me wrong, I love pranks more than ever, but something was missing.

It was as if a chunk of my heart had been ripped out.

That chunk was Lily.

I still saw her walk around with her friends, and I noticed the quick glances she'd give me during training.

But it wasn't the same.

It was as if the tension between us had completely disappeared.

I had to resist the urge to go up to her and talk to her ever minute of the day, but when I even tried getting a bit closer to her, Piper and Travis would pull me away or make up some dumb excuse.

Clarisse was back from the infirmary too, which meant that I had to go back to my regular partner for sparring, Sherman from the Ares cabin.

I had almost forgotten the smell of her perfume, and I didn't get lost in her eyes anymore.

They looked stone cold, mean and sharp.

It was like we had never really met.

I could tell that Piper made her not only forget the incident, but probably she convinced her with her charmspeak to forget about me in general.

My heart was aching, I just wanted to hug her, force Piper to give her her memories of me back.

I missed being enemies with her, I missed the sharp remarks she would make after I said my jokes.

Of course, if he were to force Piper into doing something, not only would Piper kill him in less than a split second, but he would also have to deal with the rest of seven who would hunt him down.

Those seven were probably the strongest demigods around, from centuries, and they all protected each other with their life, even if they didn't speak all the time.

I was in my cabin, helping Julia and Alice figure out their next prank; they were still newbies compared to me and Travis, and would often ask us for ideas.

I heard a sharp but soft knock on the cabin door, and I walked over to open the door.

That's when a waff of forget me not and vanilla perfume hits me right in the face, and I find myself inadvertently inhaling it.

Out of all people, it just had to be Lily at my doorstep.

Act normal, she doesn't remember you, and Julia and Alice will kill you if you don't, i think to myself.

"Um hey" I say, holding the door open and putting my weight on it, just to keep myself from fainting.

"Oh hey, do you know where Connor Stoll is" she says, reading the name off the sword.

I must have forgotten today at the arena; but that isn't what worried me.

It was the fact that she truly had forgotten about me.
