The next day

Connor's Pov

I got woken up to the sound of Travis yelling like a crazy man.

"HE DID WHAT YESTERDAY" his eyes were wide open, his finger pointing at me, and jaw wide.

He was talking to Julia and Alice.

Hell no, they were probably discussing the "meeting" between me and Lily last night, during which I kissed her.

"Why is everyone so dramatic, is it that hard to believe that I can kiss someone?" I say, my voice still groggy from having woken up, rubbing my eyes.

"Kinda, especially Lily" Travis says, looking a mix between amused and furious.

"Dude, chill, it wasn't even a kiss, it was a small peck on the lips, plus it was just a distraction for me to win the sparring match". I know damn well it wasn't just a distraction, it was something I had planned forever.

"Ok, well whatever, just please don't let it happen again Connor, ok?" He pinches his nose as he says this, eyes closed, sighing and with his other hand on his hip.

"Do you like hate her or something, why are you so against her. Plus Travis, I can make my own decisions, I don't need you to decide who I can kiss or not. If I wanna kiss her again, I will" I say, getting more and more pissed by the second.

Travis had never acted like this, ever, why was he being so possessive and bossy all of a sudden.

"Connor, you don't get it, why would you kiss Lily Marny. You know how she is. She will ruin you" he continues. "She is mean, cold and she does not care about you. She will never treat you fairly, she is a frigid bitch and you know that. I just want what's best for you".

Oh my Gods, there is no way he just called Lily a frigid bitch.

Lily, the girl who spends her whole day training, Lily, the girl who never gives up, Lily, the girl that saved all of their asses in both The Second Titan War, and the war with Geae.

They wouldn't be here, or least not everyone would be here if it hadn't been for Lily's training, strength, bravery and her want to save people.

Travis did not have the right to speak about her that way, he didn't know her.

He didn't understand what was behind Lily's beautiful hazel-green eyes, he didn't get lost in them like I did.

I made sure to let him know I was beyond done with this conversation by flipping him off, and shutting the door behind me.

Yeah, well too bad I was mad I forgot I had just gotten out of bed, so I was waering my plaid pajama pants, and I was shirtless.

I realized that a little late.

I got to the padillon for breakfast and when I sat down at my table I noticed people from all around were staring.

I caught Lily looking at me, like several times; once Katie had to elbow her right in her rib to make her stop staring.

Oh, how the tables have turned.
