I don't sit in the back for art, mostly because the seats are in a square around the room but still.
Art was my time, my safe space to do all! I have been told I was good as well
Mrs. Marco was the only teacher who really knew me (knew my name at least)
I liked drawing butterflies most, I'm not sure why they just bring me joy, I drew them all the time even outside of art class. Once the ball rang I walked to gym. I sat in a corner and read instead of playing the game. Finally the lunch bell. Normally I would sit in my art room but she had a meeting today so I went by the stairs, during lunch it was quiet there, rarely used. I took my book out of my bag
"Hi!" Ellis was smiling above me.
"Hm? Oh- you" Was my tone a bit too rude there?
"The one and only Ellis at your service! I was wondering if we could work on the project after school sometime?"
"Sure, you can come over to mine tomorrow" I replied.
"Okay" He said and walked away.
He was odd yet something about him spiked my interest. Was it the fact he actually talked to me? He didn't think I was weird, not like the others did atleast. Clearly, something about me made him curious about me, he was always talking to me, looking at me, no one else did, and if so it was to bully or judge.
Speaking of judging. Stacy in all her glory coming over to pester. If I would I would bash her head in with a hammer. Sadly I don't have a hammer with me.
I put my book away and walked to math class. I was okay at math, maybe not the best but not at all the worst. It was easy for me.
History. I was more Math/Science smart than English/History but hey
The class was surprisingly not loud unlike usual.
Finally, it was orchestra my very last class of the day. I've played violin for years. I took my seat and noticed Ellis, he was looking at me. His eyes were like a puppy's, even when he wasn't looking at me, they just always were little puppy eyes begging to be loved. I hated it. His stupid beautiful puppy dog eyes. They drew me in. Even if they were green I got lost as if they were the sea. His idiotic eyes and freckles were always in my brain. His goofy smile. God.
When the bell rang Ellis practically ran out. What is he leaving so fast for? I shrugged it off and got on my bus. I put my headphones on and stared out the window as usual. I noticed Ellis, he was staring at a house. Was it his? When I got home I laid on my bed.
