I brought Ellis to my room and we began working.
"I like this song" He said not looking up from his paper.
"Really?"
"Mhm"
"Okay then, it's called Bernadette"
"Brave bear"
"Hm?"
"Sorry that's just what it means, I didn't mean to say that aloud"
"That's okay, how'd you know that?"
"I know a lot of name meanings, I got bored one day so I decided to study them"
"That's really cool" I smiled at him. We continued working after that. I tapped my eraser below my lip. A habit I had but it was better than me biting it. Ellis moved closer and was pointing at the paper in front of us. Our shoulders were basically touching.
"I think that's a good idea" I said turning to him. He was looking at me. His stupid eyes and goofy smile.
"What are you smiling at hm?"
"Nothing"
"Stop doing that"
"Hm?" He tilted his head slightly. I kissed him. I cannot believe my first kiss was with Ellis. And liked it!
"I am so sorry I-" I stopped to collect my thoughts. He was blushing. A giggle escaped my mouth. He was seriously blushing. His stupid face was all red.
"Y-you kissed me"
"I kissed you"
"You- me?! I-" He stared at me. I didn't even feel his breath.
"Are you breathing?"
"No not- not really- I stop breathing when I'm nervous it is a bad habit of mine"
"You need to breathe Ellis-"
"I know! You kissed me though!"
"Well, it isn't too big a deal, right?"
"Alright let's say you were just kissed by your crush, you would freak out too!"
"Crush?!"
"I mean who wouldn't freak out?"
"Crush?!" I repeated. God was he adorable. A crush on ME? ME?! OF ALL THE PEOPLE HE COULD LIKE, IT'S ME?! He was still rambling. It was cute honestly. He was out of breath and his voice was getting higher. I kissed him again. AGAIN! FOR THE SECOND TIME!
"You talk so much" I laughed. "You really have a crush on me? I mean I am the witch girl after all"
"Of course, I don't care what those idiots call you, you are one of the coolest and sweetest people I know. Your laugh is adorable, your smile is like a work of art, I have been falling for you since I first saw you. I don't think anything could change that" He said. I just stared at him. I have no clue how to respond to him.
"I-"
"You two okay in here?" Sila opened the door.
"Yes thank you" he smiled at her. His demeanor calmer now. Sila left and he looked back at me. "You- I- now you got me all nervous!"
"How ever so?"
"Because I-I think I am in love with you"
"What?"
"I can't stop thinking about you and- you are absolutely adorable and your eyes don't even get me started on those- no matter how hard I try I cannot seem to stop thinking about you and I mean I don't really want to stop but I can't really focus on school work too much but I-"
