Felicity hates Luke Alvez. She hates his crooked smile. She hates his big brown puppy dog eyes. She hates his soft curly hair. She hates the way he talks to her and the way his words make her feel. But most of all she hates that she can't seem to really hate him.

She knew it was a bad idea to go to his place but she never thought she'd be this bad off after. He hadn't made it easy for her to get over him and she hated it.

Felicity sits on her couch when she gets home that night, two feelings fighting for dominance inside of her. Dread and Butterflies.

She felt like a school girl with a crush and it sickened her. Pathetic.

He doesn't know about how messed up you are.

Felicity hangs her head back as the thoughts flooded in. She is too tired to fight them this time around.

Felicity Coben, you deserve no love.

She lays in bed that night knowing they were right. When morning comes, she stays in bed a little longer than she normally would. Watching the clock on her wall tick away and dreading going to work.

She finally does get up, skips breakfast and heads to work. Entering the bullpen, she is greeted enthusiastically by Penelope. "Have you heard! Have you??"

"Heard what?"

"Matt and Kristy are at the hospital!"

A wide smile spreads on Felicity's face. "What?? Really??"

That day, Felicity manages to completely ignore Luke, the baby being at the forefront of her mind. And she couldn't wait as everyone packed up quicker than usual that day. "Come on guys! Come on! Hurry up!"

"We're coming, Felicity!" Rossi says in an almost agitated voice but he didn't actually hold it against her and she knows. He feels just as enthusiastic as her just more on the inside.

They pile into their vehicles and drive off to the hospital soon. They arrive and wait in the waiting room.

Soon Matt comes in looking tired but also overcome with joy. There's a few seconds of pin dropping silence before his grin widens." It's a girl!!!"

Everyone cheers loudly causing glances from the other people in the room but everyone is too happy to quiet down.

"What's the name?" Tara asks over everyone.

Matt smiles and looks at Rossi." We named her after the man who spent a whole Saturday helping us build her crib."

Spencer stares at him blankly." You named her Rossi?"

He laughs." Her name is Rose Mary. Closest we could get."

As Rossi kisses Matt on either cheek, to show his gratitude, the rest of the team shoots each other amused glances.

They all gather in the hospital room around Kristy, who proudly holds out her baby girl for everyone to see. They all stare in wonder at the tiny bundle of joy.

She gets passed from arm to arm, everyone wanting to hold her. When Luke finally gets her, she looks extra tiny. Felicity chuckles as she brushes down the hair on the back of the baby's head. "Oh gosh, she's so cute."

"Getting baby fever, Flick?" He says with a grin.

"A little." She answers honestly.

As he speaks to the newborn in a hushed tone, Felicity sneaks glances at him. She loves how happy he looks. He'd make a great dad.

The thought makes her swallow. She could imagine him with kids and a wife. Exactly how he deserves. And for a minute she let herself imagine herself as the love of his life but she quickly blinks the thought away and comes back to reality in the hospital room.

He'd find a beautiful woman and they'd by happy. And she wasn't going to let herself pretend it will ever be her.

As they leave the hospital, Penelope leans over and whispers." Yours and Lukes will be just as adorable."

Felicity elbows her in the side which does nothing to stop her from laughing in amusement. "Just saying!!"

Felicity finds herself longing for the next night. A carefree evening of bar peanuts and maybe some pool sounds great right about now.

But the next day drags on slowly. By the time 5:30 does come about, felicity feels as if she had been waiting for an eternity.

They make their way to the bar. Knowingly Rossi hands over his black card." Knock yourself out, kid."

Felicity smirks." Thanks, old man." She escapes before he can react to the name calling.

She comes back with a tray of drinks and food. After indulging in stale nachos and under buttered popcorn, Penelope drags Felicity over to the front of the bar where people are dancing.

Felicity finds herself uncontrollably laughing as they dance together. She was right about needing a evening like this. Where she could forget about Luke completely and pretend she was starting to get over him.
