The whole group sat in the basement of the mansion, waiting to hear what today's challenge would be. In a strange turn of events, Yeonjun told everyone that the it would actually be happening overnight, and they would have all day today and tomorrow free. The only exception being Hyunjin and JJ, who would be going on their date during the day, instead of tonight. He claimed it was some kind of "reward for waiting an extra twelve hours". Or something like that.
Yeonjun cleared his throat as he moved to stand in front of the 65-inch tv that everyone was crowded around.
"I'm sure you're all very curious as to why the challenge is now, rather than earlier today," he began. "And that is because, starting at exactly 7pm, you will be challenged to stay up all night."
"Noo!" Mya moaned, covering her eyes. "I woke up at six in the morning!"
"You do that every day," Alaska pointed out.
"Yeah, and it means that I go to bed at exactly eleven every night!" Mya insisted. "There is no way I can stay up that long, I will simply die."
Yeonjun nodded at her words. "If you fall asleep, or even close your eyes for longer than a few minutes, you will be out of the game. I, along with some of the camera crew, will be tasked with watching over you to make sure no one is cheating. You are allowed to do anything around the house, as long as you either stay in the basement, or take a camera person with you. Seven o'clock is in exactly three and a half minutes, so please get ready to stay awake!"
He clapped his hands, and stepped away from the tv, moving to the corner where the cameras wouldn't capture him.
You glanced around at the rest of the group, who were varying levels of enthusiastic. Riley and Robin were talking excitedly about all the fun they were going to have. Seeing as this was a pretty regular occurrence for the two of them, you knew they would have no problem. Mya was already yawning. Felix and Alaska were writing a list of all the candy and snacks they wanted to steal from the kitchens.
