Nick's hatred for clay grew by the day. He wasn't sure what it was about the man but it didn't sit right with him. The way he was confused a lot, no phone, no time frame of when he was going back to australia''

Right now they were all hanging out in the sanctuary, everybody that was there was working, except for cay of course. He was there most days and he helped out, but he wasn't getting paid for it. And George noticed that today, while Clay was kneeling down and talking to a little kid about some animal.

The brunette watched from the foot of the stairs, clay smiling and laughing with this little girl who couldn't have been over six. He was a natural with kids, that's something that most of the people here couldn't say for themselves.

Nick and all the other mermen grew up hating kids, hating the idea of being forced to have them. While clay was forced to have two, and that's why he had a little bit of experience. Though George didn't know that, and hopefully he never would.

Once the little girl was pulled away by her father, Clay stood back up to his full height and fixed his shirt. He looked around a moment before his eyes landed on George, and he immediately looked confused because George was practically watching his every movement.

Clay met George over where the brunette was standing, a small smile on his face. He was wearing cargo shorts and a Blue High long sleeve. George would be lying if he said it was hot when clay wore his brand.

What?'' Clay laughed a bit, running his hands down his sides before settling with them in his pockets.

You're great with kids. george smiled, there wasn't a real reason on why he was watching besides to look at his boyfriend

Yeah. Clay couldn't let in on the fact that he had two, but he did have to have some excuse.

Everybody else here can't deal with them. Hell nick avoids them at all costs.'' George shook his head a bit, starting to walk back up those stairs and clay following close behind.

For some reason, the aquarium was packed today. I mean it is usually pretty busy on the weekends but it was different today, you could hardly walk in a straight line down a hallway.

Well nicks a- clay mumbled but quickly caught himself when the one and only took the corner at the top of the stairs and began walking down them.

George had to stop himself from laughing, Nick gave the two a weird look but nothing the less walked down the stairs and carried on with his own business.

The top of the sanctuary was rather slow, considering everybody was down stairs attending to people and there was a seal show soon that most of them had to be at. Since it was a sanctuary, of course none of the seals actually stayed there permanently.

Clay was going to help out with the seal show, he wasn't doing anything more than throwing fish at the seals as treats but he was helping out nonetheless.

Hey clay. George spoke as they began walking towards his office.

Yeah? The blonde followed him, stealing a glance at the stingray tank before shutting the office door behind him.

You're here all the time. George began, now standing behind his desk and looking up at clay.

The blonde began to feel like he was in trouble.

You help out, you do more work than most of the actual employees. George smiled a bit, looking around before his eyes landed on Clay's face again.

The blonde didnt respond,

You practically work here already, why don't i just actually hire you.'' George had to spit it out, he knew that clay didn't have a job and he wasn't really sure where the man's money was coming from but that wasn't really any of his business.
