Everyone in the room stood up to leave once the order was passed. Roohi looked around the room, her face back to its normal form before finally it fell upon on Abhimanyu and before she could stop her eyes misted slightly. She couldn't believe that she would end up against him but that was how things turned out to be.

Just because of one man's sin and another man's decisions!

Her eyes turned bloodshot as she remembered everything she just wanted to forget. Her eyes lingered at Abhimanyu as her legs inadvertently took her near him. Abhimanyu stiffened once her eyes fell on her.

She looked at the police officer near Abhimanyu.

"Officer can we talk alone" She politely asked them.

"Par Ma'am-" The officer looked hesitant.

"Please" She pressed on her request and he gave in. He knew her for a long time. So he walked away keeping his focus on them from a while. Once satisfied Roohi looked back at him. He e wanted to tear his eyes away but something in him stopped him. He wanted to see how long that woman could keep up her pretence and as predicted she couldn't keep the contact for a long time as she looked away.

"Ankhe toh woh churate hai jisne jhoot kaha ho ya galti ki hoon aapne kya Kiya Ms. Khurrana" She heard him speak and she looked back at him immediately. Abhimanyu was internally startled when he saw raw anger in those cold eyes.

"Jhoot kehkar bhi log nazre Milana sikh chuke hai mister aur yeh baat aapse acha koi Jaan sakta hai right" She replied him in her normal sarcastic tone. The smirk on her face alerted him, there was something more into the story.

"You know something right" he directly questioned and the smirk on her face increased.

"I know everything wo Raaz bhi Jo aapke ek bhi apne nahi jante" She replied to him and Abhimanyu stiffened knowing what she was talking about.

"Toh yeh sab kyu kar rahi hai aap" the desperation in his eyes and voice was clearly evident. Roohi gave him a look before sighing exhausted.

"Wada, ek farishte ka wada poora kar rahi hoon khabri bankar" Her tone held a softness in them which was clearly absent before. Her soft whispers, lost look everything confused him.

"Farishta, Khabri yeh sab kya hi keh rahi hai aap"

Roohi was about to say something when Devansh walked towards them interupting their conversation.

"Aap yaha Ms. Khurrana" Roohi looked at him, his tone sharp and rude and a big smile bloomed on her face.

"Nah was just passing by but did I say tum aaj bohot ache the honge kaise nahi Bhai kiske ho" her compliment felt like a taunt to him as Dev frowned at her confused whereas Abhimanyu stiffened getting her hint.

"Thanks but no thanks I think aap ja sakti hai" He firmly stated ignoring her words. Roohi shook her head and swiftly turned around walking away. Dev sighed in relief when she went away whereas Abhimanyu looked on at the path she walked away, he wanted to finish off the conversation. Something was telling him that whatever she was going to do would not end up good for him.

"Bhaiya" Dev called out for him in a morse tone and his eyes misted when he saw his brother reacting to his words. He thanked God for him being not so emotionless like he was the last time. He couldn't control himself and swiftly walked near him hugging him tightly almost knocking him down.

Abhimanyu however held him at the last moment, his own eyes misting. Despite the silence lingering in the air he knew that none of them would have been easy for them. This is what he wanted to keep them away.
