The strong smell of coffee and freshly baked cookies was all around in the air opening the doors to fantasy and her heart swelling up with the want of having them in their hands the next moment.

Avantika tied her hair and made a bun of it as she walked to the kitchen and saw Vidya kaki and Atharv sharing a laughter. She stood back by the door capturing the sceneric beauty in her heart. She saw them taking out the baking plate out of the oven and couldn't help but walking towards them to have one from it. She had a very rough shift that day and a bitter cup of coffee could only help to soothe her aching muscles.

She passed a grateful smile to Atharv who passed her the cup of coffee and took a sip of it closing her eyes in pure bliss. The heaven like feeling seeped in her as she let out a tired sigh. She was well aware of the taste of coffee. The blissful bevarege was made by none other than her son. She then opened her doe shaped almond eyes and looked at Atharv who was looking at her expectly. Years to go and he still made coffee for her whenever she let's him know of her coming back to home and each time he silently asks her if the coffee was something she could have. She caressed his cheeks gently before kissing his crown giving away her answer and Atharv just smiled at her action.

She was his only home, his only family he had known for a long time and even when he learnt to extend the home and his family, her thoughts mattered to him the most. She was the most important person he ever had in his life and her feelings was what he had learnt to fetch for in his childhood. He hugged her on impulse but pulled back immediately when he heard the car pulling in and he rushed off to greet his brother or maybe brothers.

Avantika and Vidya shared a chuckle at his excitement as he ran towards the door.

"Thanks Bhabhi in tasty cookies ke liye" she said to Vidya taking a bite from the cookies.

"Are kya aap bhi bhabhi isme kya thanks bolna kuch bhi" Vidya replied back putting another set of cookies to bake.

"Waise ek baat puchu aage ka kya plan hai aapka" Avantika questioned her dismissing the silence from the air. Vidya looked at her not actually getting what she meant.

"Kis baare main baat kar rahi ho bhabhi"

"Are wo kal aap batah rahi thi na uske baare main" Avantika clarified her sitting on the kitchen slab. Vidya sighed leaning into the wall. She had met a guy from shop few years back and they had been great friends from then. Few weeks back he had propersed her but she was doubtful. She knew somewhere she felt something for him but she was concerned about her age.

"I don't know Bhabhi is Umar main ab yeh sab patah nahi kitna theek hoga aur phir log kya sochenge" Vidya spoke up in an unsure tone and Avantika just sighed at her reaction. If there is something she hates then it would be what will people think. As much as she appreciate some norms and their importance in one's life she was against those few minds who were too judgemental about other lives without even knowing their stories. They just know how to judge and comment and that was not something Avantika ever liked. She was not against people judging anyone. It is important to judge to know if he was a wise company to you but getting into others matter was what irked her a lot.

"Aap kabse aise sochne lage Bhabhi aur log kya sochte hai usse kya farak parta hai waise bhi har kisi ko pyaar itni aasan se nahi milta and here both of them love each other so what's wrong sometimes second chances are what you needed in your life Bhabhi" she patiently explained and Vidya plainly looked at her eyes. She had seen the young women who looked so broken at getting betrayed that she was scared if they would ever get her back but Avantika proved them wrong with style. She not only came back stronger but wiser. She was no more the girl who loved everyone blindly but she was a wise women who neither trusted nor didn't trust anyone at a glance. She gave a fair chance to everyone to earn her trust but if they failed that was there problem but not hers.
