Author's POV:

Engagement Venue

After the moments of revelry, the guests went to their favorite place- the food counters.

The Roys, Rathores, and Singhs were left there, on and near the stage.

Rudransh sat down, on both of his knees (recovery requires time), looked towards Suharika's hands, and asked: Can I?

Suharika's cheeks bloomed like crimson roses, her heart dancing a secret waltz. His tender gestures, though seemingly insignificant, ignited a wildfire within her. With a shy nod, she extended her hand, fingers trembling like the delicate petals of a morning flower. But then, something extraordinary happened—Suharika sank to her knees, defying convention, and gazed into Rudransh's eyes. Those light brown orbs held galaxies of unspoken emotions, and in that shared moment, they both knew: that their souls were entwined, and the universe conspired to bind them together. Rudransh reciprocated, his gaze unwavering, as if daring the world to challenge their connection. Suharika's deep brown eyes mirrored his intensity, promising solace and sanctuary.

Rudransh: Apki prashansa mein jitna kahein, utna kam hai Suharika Ji... Isliye prashansa nahi, vaade kar rahe hain...

His words hung in the charged silence, like constellations waiting to be discovered. Suharika's heart skipped a beat, and she wondered what kind of promises he meant. Were they whispered vows of forever? Or perhaps secrets shared only between souls entwined.

Rudransh: Hum toofanon mein apka ashray ban ne ka vaada karte hain... Jeewan ki bhool bhulaiya mein, apka margdarshak ban ne ka vada karte hain...Apke chehre ki hasi ko har kshan doguna karne ka vaada karte hain.. Hum agle har janam mein, apke hone ka vaada karte hain... aur ant mein, in sabhi vaadon ko nibhane ka vaada karte hain...

Suharika's eyes widened, and she felt the universe shift. His promises weren't mere words; they were cosmic threads weaving their destinies.

Her reply was a whisper, softer than stardust: Hum aapse vaada karte hain apke kare hue har vaade ko nibhate hue, aap humein apne sameep payenge... Vaada karte hain, antim shwans tak vaada nibhate rehne ka vaada...

Amidst the soft rustle of whispered vows, Suharika's eyes shimmered like dew-kissed petals. Her small finger, delicate as a moonbeam, extended toward Rudransh—a bridge between their hearts. He, too, reached out, his touch a promise etched in stardust. Their fingers entwined, a cosmic dance of fate and devotion.

Rudransh: For eternity we shall keep these promises.

Suharika and Rudransh were seated on a sofa, which was kept down, facing the stage.

Suddenly, the lights went off, and the spotlight fell on Aryamaan who signaled for the music.
