Chapter 22
Rajkumari Sa & Kunwar Sa
Author's POV:
The big day has come. Rudransh is seated in the Mandap, waiting for his Suharika Ji. He is performing some rituals as per Pandit Ji's instructions.
On the other side, Suharika is all set in her wedding attire. But she is waiting for Shashwat who told her to wait for a minute.
Shashwat hurriedly enters Suharika's room and asks for her hands. Suharika extends her hands and then Shashwat attaches Kaleerein to her Choora, making it look even more beautiful.
Suharika's Choora:
Shashwat: Didi wo... humare yahan kaleerein nahi hoti but apka humesha se sapna tha na kaleerein wala choora pehen ne ka, to maine alag se banwa diye the... Achi to lagi na...?
Suharika's Kaleerein:
Suharika: Achchi? Bahut achchi hai gudda... Itni pyaari hain...
Suharika touched her kaleerein while saying this. Suharika and Shashwat stood facing each other. Their eyes, mirror images of shared memories and unspoken emotions, held a universe of love and longing. Suharika's bridal attire cascaded around her, the intricate embroidery whispering stories of her past and dreams of her future. Shashwat, his eyes glistening, reached out to her, pulling her into a tight embrace. Their hearts beat in sync, a rhythm that had been their constant companion since birth. Tears flowed freely, unburdening the weight of separation and change. Suharika buried her face in Shashwat's shoulder, inhaling the familiar scent of home. He whispered words of encouragement, promising to be her anchor even as she embarked on this new journey.
She clung to him, unwilling to let go of her baby brother and go somewhere completely new to her. Shashwat's tears dampened her hair, and in that fragile moment, they were not just siblings; they were each other's solace, confidantes, and protectors. As the clock ticked relentlessly, they held on, unwilling to let go. The room seemed to hold its breath, honoring their bond. And when they finally released each other, it was with a promise—a silent pact that transcended words. Suharika stepped away, her eyes never leaving Shashwat's face.
Suharika: Dadi ko tang mat karna, Maan bhai ki saari baatein maan na... aur..
She couldn't speak anymore because of her tears.
Shashwat: Are meri pyaari didi, main to jaan karke galtiyan karunga taaki mujhe daantne hi sahi, har din mujhse milne to aaogi...
This was it, Suharika again let her tears flow freely.
Suharika: Tujhe achcha lagta hai na mujhe aise rulana?
Shashwat chuckled and wrapped his arms around her: Are nahi didi, bas... apki yaad aayegi... abhi hi to wapas aaya tha main, apke jaane ka samay hogya ab... Kyu? Kyu hain duniya ke rules aise? Hum dono saath is duniya mein aaye, fir kyu hum dono ki qismat mein saath rehna nahi likha...? Bachpan mein saath par wo zyada yaad nahi... Teenage mein bhagwan ji ne door kar diya... Ab jab wapas aaya, to apki shaadi kara rahe hain...
Suharika, chuckling between her sobs: Kya hi keh sakti hoon Shashwat?
Shashwat: Aisa karo mujhe dahej mein le chalo, waise bhi koi dahej to jaa nahi raha...
Suharika and Shashwat both started laughing at this. Then Shashwat wiped Suharika's tears and kissed her forehead.
Shashwat extended his hand towards Suharika, and said: Chalein Rajkumari sa ko unke Kunwar sa ke paas leke?
Suharika blushingly placed her hand in his and they went out of the room.

The delicate floral canopy was held at each corner by Aryamaan, Shashwat, Mrinal, and Lakshya, their faces beaming with pride and happiness. The flowers gently swayed with each step, releasing a sweet fragrance that mingled with the music.
