Tension and Meditation

Shin was in his meditation chamber, his eyes closed, and his aura concentrated. And It had been two days since Goku and Vegeta had started training. Shin breathed deeply; images flashed through his mind. Some of planets, some of galaxies, and some of nebulae.

"Zephyr could be right around the corner. He had killed the Kais before to become the Supreme Kai, so there's a chance that he'll be after me..." Shin thought to himself. He opened his eyes and looked forward; his eyes fixed on the crystal orb in front of him.

"Is that why Goku had insisted on training with me? He wanted me to be able to protect myself against Zephyr. Beerus and Whis insisted that I train with him as well...Do they know something I don't?" Shin rubbed his temples and focused his mind, placing a hand on the crystal orb in front of him. He took a deep breath and an image flashed through his mind. A tall figure with light blue skin and long white hair.

"I've got you, Zephyr." Shin thought aloud. Zephyr turned to him and smirked, his chest flickered with light and his eyes burned with hatred. He mouthed a single sentence that sent shivers down Shin's spine. Shin's eyes shot open, and his concentration broke. He gasped as he stumbled back, sweat forming on his forehead.

"It can't be..." Shin muttered as Zephyr's words flew around his head.

"You're next."

Meanwhile, Goku and Vegeta were training in the time chamber. They had already been in for two days, only one left. They clashed in the air, throwing punches and taking blows, testing their limits. When they finally took a break, Vegeta turned to Goku.

"So, what do you think Kakarot? Is this Zephyr guy a big deal?" Vegeta asked.

"I think so. From what Supreme Kai told me, this guy's a menace." Goku said as he looked up thoughtfully.

"But still, I can't wait to fight him." he said with a grin.

"Hey Kakarot, isn't it strange that Beerus insisted that Supreme Kai train? That overgrown feline never cared about him before." Vegeta said. Goku hummed and said,

"Well, Zephyr killed the Supreme Kais before, so there's a good chance he'll try to go after our Supreme Kai too. So Beerus is probably just worried about himself." Goku nodded to himself and said,

"I wonder if Beerus did leave anything out in that dream he told Supreme Kai. But enough about that, let's get back to training!"

Shin paced back and forth, keeping an eye on the crystal ball, where Zephyr's image flashed like static.

"He knows I'm watching him, but he hasn't made a move." Shin thought to himself. He placed a hand on the crystal ball and the images flashed through his mind. He closed his eyes, watching as Zephyr touched the tip of a sword, his fingers grazing the sharp blade as blue blood dripped down the blade. Zephyr pushed his arm down, making the blade cut across his wrist and he let out a low, evil laugh.

"What is he doing? Is he hurting himself for fun? He's crazy..." Shin sighed and looked at the clock.

"Four hours left. Please hurry, Saiyans."
