Goku's Birthday

Authors note: Alright this song is the song that is played at Goku's party, you could play it while you read (:

30 minutes later Shin, Kibito, and the Elder Kai arrived on Earth, and upon Goku seeing them he greeted them all with a smile.

"Goodmorning guys what's up!"

"You waking us at 4:30 that's what's up." Elder Kai said with a yawn. Meanwhile Shin just chuckled.

"Goodmorning Goku and happy birthday." Kibito said as he smiled.

"You really went all out didn't you..." Shin said as he took in the twinkling lights that hung from the trees of Mt Paozu, the place where Goku's Saiyan pod landed years ago and he was found by Gohan.

"Yup. Well I haven't been able to actually celebrate my birthday much you know hehe."

'No doubt, with everything Goku has had to face in the past years it's no wonder he never had time to celebrate his birthday,' Shin thought to himself.

The daylight hadn't come yet and it was still dark outside, but the place was well lit because of the hanging lights and Shin took in the beautiful scenery of the trees, and the mountains in the distance.

'This really is beautiful.'  Shin thought when a smile formed on his face.

Goku looked at him and smiled, walking up to Shin he said.

"This is where Gohan found me. Look it's a full moon." Goku said looking up in the sky but then a sad look crossed his face.

Shin stayed quiet when he saw Goku, and noticed that the Saiyan brought an arm to his face.

'Is he crying?' Shin thought to himself.

"Now as promised, I'm going to make sure you eat." Goku said then putting a grin on his face as he pulled Shin by the arm to a seat at a table.

"Goku I don't need to eat, it is not necessary." Shin said innocently. 

"Oh come on even Kais need to eat right? Come on." Goku said pouting as he sat down next to Shin.

Shin opened his mouth to speak but as soon as he did Goku put a spoonful of rice in the Kais mouth.

"See it's not so bad." Goku said laughing.

"Now Goku how many times do I have to tell you to be nice to our guests?" Chi-Chi said as she walked up to where the two were sitting.

"Hi I'm Chi-Chi, Goku's wife, and you're the Supreme Kai right, I don't think we were ever introduced properly."

Shin stood up. "No I don't think we were, I'm Shin, It's a pleasure to meet you Mrs. Chi-Chi." He said with a respectful bow and a smile.

"No need to be so formal, and you can just call me Chi-Chi." She said chuckling.

"Yeah you bowed when we first met too what's up with that?" Goku said with a giggle.  

"Oh sorry, it's just how I was raised." Shin laughed putting his arm behind his head.

Goku, Chi-Chi, and Shin shared a laugh then they heard music suddenly playing.

"Come on guys let's dance!" It was Bulma, she grabbed Vegeta by the arm and pulled him to dance with her, while Goku and Chi-Chi, and Gohan and Videl all went to dance together a slow dance.

Shin just watched them dance to the music and admired the sight of them being so happy, he smiled and Kibito and his Ancestor sat down with him.

"What's with you boy you've been awfully quiet lately, is something wrong?" The Elder Kai asked Shin.

"It's nothing Ancestor." Shin replied with a reassuring grin.
