Chapter 20- He Found Us

Hazel's POV
I ended up sleeping longer than expected. It was about eight when I woke up. I got myself up and dragged myself downstairs where everyone was watching tv.
"Hey she's awake!!" Ricky yelled.
"It's alive!!!!" Annabelle said.
"Hello people." I said sitting by Chris.
"Hazel, can I talk to you in private?" My mom asked getting up and going outside.
"Yeah sure." I got up and followed her. I looked back at everyone with worry written on my face. I'm scared of what she will say.
"Okay, don't panic, but when you were sleeping, you're dad had came over here. He knows where we are Hazel."
"Wait.. How did he find us?" My stomach fell to my feet and I began to get nauseous. I went pale and felt like fainting. I can't believe my so called dad found out where me and my mom are...
"Did he say anything?" I asked, my voice shaky.
"He said he's going to get us back whatever it takes. Hazel, we have to leave the state."
"I can't leave Chris!"
"No, let's get everyone together, and move. I heard Chris and I think Balz talking about moving to PA. This is our chance before he does something."
"Have you talked to anyone else about this?"
"Yes, Chris. He said that'd be fine."
"Okay.. Well when should we leave??"
"I'm already looking for a house, and I think I've found one. So whenever that happens, start packing."
She walked away from me leaving me to over think about this. I can't believe we have to move...

Chris's POV
"So everyone, we have to move." I spoke over everyone.
"What why?"
"What!?!"
"Dude, this is our house!!"
"Guys stop, Hazel's dad found her and her mom. We're moving to PA."
"PA!?! Across the country?!" Ricky was starting to piss me off.
"Ricky, shut the fuck up for a minute. You guys like her right? Yeah? Well, if you do, then we have to protect her."
"Okay." Ghost said butting in.
"See Ghost is on my side. Now, let's get packing."
"But Chris-"
"But nothing Angelo, we are moving." He rolled his eyes, he's always had an attitude, I just choose to ignore it.
"Chris wait." I heard Hazel behind me, following me to my room.
"I don't want to be the reason why you're making the guys move."
"You're not the only reason Hazel. You're the main reason right now, but me and Josh have been wanting to move."
"Why?"
"This is house is going Hazel. Shit goes wrong with it all the fucking time, and the neighborhood is beginning to go in the shitter. Annoying ass neighbors, stupid fucks every where you turn."
"Oh, well then." She giggled.
"I think you're mom found a house too, so we're good. Hazel, I don't want you to get hurt."
"I know Chris, I've had to deal with him before, I can do it again."
"What if you can't? What if he goes too far?"
"What do you mean?"
"What if he kills you Hazel."
"If he does, he does."
"That's not what I want to fucking hear Hazel. If he takes your life, I'll fucking take his."
"Chris, I'll be fine."

Hazel's POV
"Chris, I'll be fine." I said calmly. On the inside I was ready to kill myself, but I was calm and collected on the outside. Like I usually am.
I left the room to allow Chris to cool down. He was getting pissed and I did not want to see that side of him.
I walked back downstairs and sat beside Ghost, why you ask, because that's the only seat. My fucking luck sucks ass..
Truly, I do miss Ghost a lot, but I don't think I could date him after what he did to me. I miss the feel of him cuddling me at night.. I miss the love we used to make. I miss his kiss, his body against mine. I missed him. Making sure no one was looking, I gently set my hand on his. He looked at me and made a small smile. I did the same.
"I miss you." I whispered softly in his ear.
"I miss you too." He whispered back to me. I hope what he said is true.
I saw Chris coming down the stairs so I quickly moved my hand. I hope he didn't see that.. He didn't acknowledge anyone, he walked past everyone, grabbed his keys, and walked out. I jumped up and ran outside with him.
"Chris wait!" I stopped him and pushed his against his car.
"What Hazel?"
"Where are you going?"
"No where Hazel, I just need to drive." I jumped into his arms and kissed him for as long as I could.
"I love you." I said softly.
"I love you too Hazel."
I kissed him one last time before letting him get into his car.
"Are you coming?"
"You want me to?"
"Would I have asked you?"
"I'll be right back." I ran into the house, grabbed my shoes and a hoodie and ran back out. I got into the car and we drove off to who knows where.
