It was the day of the carnival! Marinette can't help but be excited at what awaits her.

It was a nice break to relax from the school and MDC work. As spending quality time with her friends and boyfriend.

Damian had willingly offered to pick her up from her apartment, so she was thankful for the ride. If he hadn't, she would've used public transportation, which would complicate things as she had never went to the pier before. Her bad sense of direction isn't of help either.

When she met Damian, who had came to pick her up, he was beyond stunned.

Damian blushed red as a tomato and was admiring his girlfriend's beauty. She looked amazing. He couldn't help but be awed by her looks.

After a few minutes, Marinette finally had enough of his silence and questioned about her looks, worried.

Damian reassured her that it was because she looked amazingly beautiful, which made her also flush as red as a tomato.

As he held her hand to guide her into the car's seat, he even went as far as opening and closing the door for her...He was a gentleman, she couldn't help but be flattered.

Surprisingly, he was the one who drove the car. She obviously inquired regarding Alfred and why he hadn't drive him, his reasoning was that he had felt the want to drive. So she let him be after him reassuring that he had his official license and registration.

They then settle on mundane conversation, consisting of Marinette mostly doing the talks while Damian quipped in between the talks.

They had finally arrived at the park after around 30 minutes.

Marinette and Damian had walked side by side, searching for her group of friends. They had agreed upon meeting at the pier immediately since the whole Parisian class had to ride together in a bus that they had rented.

Marinette spotted the group from afar and couldn't help but rushed to them. Damian couldn't help but chuckle happily at her antics.

As she approached the group of her friends.

She greeted them and Chloe was the first to compliment her about her dress. It wasn't long before Kagami and Alix joined in. Even went as far as Damian joined in, she was so surprised and embarrassed, she flushed as red as crimson as soon as his words left his lips.

"You look very beautiful in the dress Marinette" He had stated again while she was surprised and embarrassed, her cheeks immediately flushed as red as crimson.

She could hear laughter behind her, she knew it was Chloe and Alix laughing at her reaction. She couldn't help but turn to them and pouted.

Damian just kept looking at Marinette, her flush face was cute then she talked to her friends, he kept looking at her with a small smile on his face. Chloe noticed and was happy for Marinette.

A few minutes passed by when Jon, finally decided to grace them with his presence. He was late. Let's just say he got a huge lecture from Damian, he looked very apologetic after he had heard his lecture.

They finally went to the Carnival as they entered..

Marinette looked around excitedly while Damian trailed behind her, watching her amused.

The carnival was crowded and influx of people is seen walking and busy with their own activities.

Damian was worried that she will lost Marinette, her being a ball of energy could easily get lost in the crowd.
