A/N: If you haven't read the A/N Chapter, I implore you to read because it contains the Epilogue of the Book! It wraps the book quite nicely, might I add.
Two years after she stayed in Gotham, it was the peak summer holiday that Damian's Birthday came.
Marinette knew Damian's birthday was coming up and she had planned for his birthday for months before.
In the morning of Damian's Birthday...
The Wayne siblings, excluding Damian, who was unfortunately kept busy by Bruce. He had joined hands to help her keep Damian away. The siblings were watching Marinette rushing around the kitchen, baking Damian's cake.
"I'm impressed by Marinette's dedication by waking up on..." Jason spoke up amused.
"4 am" Tim answered, tiredly and the elder siblings couldn't help but gasp in disbelief.
The pair of older siblings turned to look at the bustling Marinette, "YOU WOKE UP THAT EARLY!?"
Marinette spared the siblings a glance, "Yes! It's Damian's birthday! I have to prepare!" As she went back to her baking.
"I'm amazed at her energy...*yawn*.." Tim muttered.
"Wait, how did you know?" Dick questioned and Tim shrugged.
"Believe it or not, I was in the kitchen trying to refill my coffee at 5 am when I met up with Marinette, who had already baked alongside Alfred who was there. Clearly I was bizarre by the sight and questioned Alfred"
"He told me that she had been baking since 4 am! He also kindly informed me that it was Damian's birthday which made sense" Tim finished as he shook her head in disbelief.
The siblings were speechless at the new information, partly because Tim was awake at that time, yet again, it wasn't odd...Knowing Tim had the most terrible sleeping schedule of all time. He is always awake at odd times.
Dick narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, "Did you put up another all nighter again?"
Tim's eyes widened as he had been caught by his sibling's trap. His expression showed it all.
"TIM DRAKE! I ALREADY TOLD YOU NOT TO DO THAT AND DRINK TOO MUCH CAFFEINE, I HAVE TO CUT YOUR SUPPLIES AGAIN!" Dick exclaimed while Tim cried out in agony and disapprovement of Dick's verdict.
"NOOO.."
There was Jason who was watching on the sidelines and humored at the scene in front of him.
Dick did in fact, did what he announced, he confiscated Tim's coffee stash and in the end, Tim was coffeeless...
Tim radiated sadness and agony slumped on the kitchen table.
Marinette couldn't help but send Tim a pitiful look as she knew and shared his love for coffee, she understood the pain from being deprived of her beloved coffee as she was once at his place. She shivered in thought whenever she remembered how Chloe had once taken control and deprived her coffee for one whole month! Let's just say it was a nightmare for her. She was practically a walking zombie the whole month.
Though she couldn't dwell too long on poor Tim.
"I feel bad for Tim...That was quite harsh.." Marinette trailed off as she whisk some icing.
Dick sighed while Jason cackled, Dick shook his head, helpless, "I understand...But don't be fooled from Tim's deceitful sad expression. He's trying to pity him to take the coffee back..."
