Normal Guy was surprisingly nice to the new intern ever since the interview. It was obvious Normal Guy has taken a bigger liking to him than the others. Protag was currently working on a few papers that he had to finish that day. Suddenly he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turns around to see Normal Guy with a few more papers....welp fuck, more work for Protag. 

"I've noticed that you've been slacking off lately...is there a reason for that?" Slacking off? Damn, Protag thought he was doing fine... although he had been turning things in a bit later than usual and working a bit slower...why tho?? Protag thought of an excuse before speaking. "I haven't been sleeping well enough I guess? I'm probably just tired, I'll do better. Sorry for slacking off." Normal Guy smiled and set some more papers on his desk. "No problem! I have high expectations." Protag got to work and drank enough coffee to give a toddler a heart attack. 

Protag finally finished EVERYTHING!! He still had a bit more energy from all the coffee. He turned everything in, checked a few things and then he got called to see Normal Guy. Normal Guy had a bouquet of roses on his hands. When Protag stopped at floor 9 Normal Guy stepped into the elevator and handed him the flowers. "Thank you for being a great part of this company! I've grown quite fond of you and I wanted to give you this as a thank you for trying so hard!" Protag looked at the flowers and back at his employer/boss. "Oh, thanks..? I appreciate thi-" Protag was cut off by a sudden kiss on the cheek. "I think I've grown attracted to you, although, I suggest we keep this a formal office relationship." Protag was flabbergasted...did his boss just confessed to him? That was new! Protag didn't think of himself as gay or anything...but this made him feel happy and flattered. "I guess we should since it's not really ok to date your employees." 

Normal Guy held his hand. "We can make this an outside of work relationship. I know that I'm not like most people, and that I'm in a higher position than you in life but I want you to love me normally, like you would love anybody else." Protag was absolutely flustered, not only was that a great confession but DAMN! This guy favored him and got him roses! "I'm not against that, we'll make it work out somehow." Normal Guy clapped his hands together and his face flushed a dark grey color. "Thank goodness! I will treat you right, I promise!" Protag smiled and nodded.

The lord looked down and said "Hey, you're only mortal", giveth and taketh away 'till things come out a certain way. Leave you wondering when things might go back to normal, leave you wondering why they can't have just been normal..

A/N. NAH CUS I WAS FORGETTING ENGLISH WHILE WRITING THIS!! ALSO I WAS DRAWING PROTAG AND MY GRANDPA SAW AND CALLED HIM A MONKEY😭😭 AND MY DAD CALLED FORCAS THE N SLUR!! WE DON'T EVEN GOT A PASS, WE MEXICAN!!
