You were currently late because your current partner was angry for no reason and had to get to your boss quickly! Your one of the assistants of one the C.E.O's, and for that reason you gotta run or you may get fired. You ran through the work place and accidentally bumped into the newest intern, one of your papers fell in the process but you didn't notice. You looked back as you ran to see who you bumped into. "Sorry!" You yell as you ran further away.

Protag rubbed his shoulder where you had accidentally hit him. He looked at you and gave you the stank eye but when you apologized he didn't look so bothered but still annoyed. He saw the paper that fell, he picked it up. 'He dropped this.' Protag looks to check how far you've gotten. It seemed you had already left, he looked at the signature to maybe learn your name. On the paper he saw your name. He decided it'd be easier to give it back during break or something.

He looked around the break room to give the paper back. He saw you drinking some random ass coffee. He looked at you for a sec and took in your appearance. Protag walked back to his cubicle, his heart racing in a way it hasn't since he was a little immature teenager...the only difference was that this time it was for a guy. He hated this heart throb, you were making him think way to much and his stomach hurt. 'I don't even have a chance. He's probably straight and I should stop thinking about him! Ugh, but I kinda like him. He's gonna reject to me it's gonna be super embarrassing and tell all his fucking friends and-' Protag began thinking of all the worst possible things that could happen in that situation. 'I gotta hide these feelings so they can't be found. Maybe I'm thinking way to much.' Thankfully for both of you, you would both be released in a bit.

Finally work ended and Protag was near the exit arguing with coworker about stuff. You couldn't help but look at him and forget you were already with someone, but you liked this guy. On your way out you get text from your lover...or should you say ex.

Well shit. You got dumped, well that's upsetting. So, you got to options, hit on the new guy or try and get them back. Fuck it, KISS THE NEW GUY!!! Protag could notice your look before you looked at the text on your phone. He couldn't help but blush and look down while walking away from coworker and into his car. Did Protag actually have feelings for you or did he only think you were attractive? To be honest, it's pretty much both. You both headed home. Protag fell asleep after 6 hours of doing and thinking who knows what despite his efforts, meanwhile you were sleeping fine but a bit late, at least it wasn't 6 hours of being awake after work.

Protag was thinking of asking you out and you were planning on asking him out as well. "H-hey, uhmm hi (reader)..!"

Ugh, now for the stupid confession part if I happen to find out he's into dudes.'

Once you got back your boss was scolding you for being 1 minute late. Not only did you hate your boss, you also hated his nephew, the dumb Nepo baby that annoys you and everyone else to death. You had to apologize and sit for a while more before your boss forgave you. Honestly work was hell, but now you looked to seeing the newbie! After getting scolded and forgiven you got a text from Protag.

Protag looked back at his phone and realized something. 'DAMN IT! I SAID I FUCKIN DATE!' Once you noticed the message he sent had said 'date', you took a screenshot to remember this beautiful moment...wait what. 'HE CALLED IT A DATE! WE'RE GAY!!!Hooray for the gays.' You got excited while Protag was panicking that you thought he was weird gay person (not saying that he isn't).

Just because Protag has never been with a guy before or did he considered himself gay didn't mean he thought of you as an experiment, he genuinely loved you.
