Rey looked at Luke, and this time, she looked with tears, new tears which were for herself, and her internal pain.

Catching sight of this, Luke then said to attaching the lightsaber to his belt, "This is not the only reason why you've come." He looked at her concernedly, noting this by the distress upon her face.

"Please," she begged of him, "It's been so long... so long," she grieved. "My family... I've been alone for as long as I can remember waiting... waiting for someone to come to me." Tears streaked past her cheeks as she said this to him.

Slowly approaching her, Luke spoke in reply, "I didn't mean to leave you... and neither did I mean to abandon you or cause you so much pain." The tone by which he spoke was not of Jedi but rather- "Rey, I'm sorry... For every reason, I couldn't be there, and for every reason I wasn't present."

Before knowing it, Rey's tears were falling onto this man's shoulders, and she was clinging to him, not wanting to let go. To this feeling, the word which she desired to say came to mind... father.

Flashback:

"Rey, wake up," a gentle, soft voice said to the child girl, Rey Skywalker.

Gradually opening her eyes, Rey set her eyes upon her mother, Aurora, who had brown curly hair, light-brown eyes. Her mother looked at her tenderly and affectionate yet also with fright and worry.

In the fright and worry, the rising tensions of fear, she said to Rey, "We have to flee, Rey. We have to get off the planet."

"Mother," Rey spoke with a waking voice, rubbing her eyes. "What's going on? Where's father?" She then asked him, "What's happening?" Her eyes clicked at the sight of her mother's blaster concealed in its holster.

All of sudden, a rumbling was heard by the ears, felt beneath the feet, and seen by the sight of cracks breaking through the walls.

"Come!" Rey's mother ordered, pulling her daughter by the hand.

Through the halls of their home, Rey's mother moved through swiftly yet vigilantly.

"Come, Rey!" she said again. "We have to move fast!"

At the second, an explosion ripped through a wall.

"Mom!" Rey screamed, covering her head.

With smoke entering the household, Aurora pulled out her blaster and pointed it towards the man-sized hole which was created by the rip of the explosion. Hearing the monotone voices approaching the hole, she knew it was them. Pulling the trigger, she shot, and she fired. A monotone scream bellowed, and returned fire shot through the hole.

Pulling her daughter into safety, Aurora readied her blaster once again. Through the hole, they came inside wearing black and white plated armor and helmets and wielding a precision blaster in hand. Through the visor reflecting the smoke and fire of the battle scene, they walked inside.

"They exist," Aurora whispered with great fear. "Luke," she said in her husband's name, "The visions are true. Your visions are true. The Empire has returned as the First Order."

Then, they appeared around the corner, First Order Stormtroopers. The stormtroopers fired and Aurora fired back. She shot two of several stormtroopers within the squad. Running away with her daughter, Rey, who was screaming and crying with tears from the trauma of war, Aurora fired and shot, triggering a safety door to shut. The door shut blocking the entry of the stormtroopers.

Roaming through the household, Aurora and Rey arrived at the hangar where an airship was docked. Entering the airship, the engines were fired up and the ship departed just as the stormtroopers had broken through.
