The feeling of your girlfriend's lips on your neck was driving you insane.

She was paying extra special attention to that one sensitive spot on your skin and the way she smirked against your neck as her name left your lips made you weak in the knees.

As she began to give you a few hickeys, heightening the already intense bliss you felt, her name fell from your lips a little louder and she lifted her head quickly.

"Shhh," She said as she placed her index finger over your mouth. "Quiet, baby girl."

"I can't help it." You pouted. "I love it when you kiss my neck like that and give me hickeys. You make me feel amazing."

"I know." She smiled. "But you don't want those little ears across the hall to hear. If Carter wakes up, we have to stop."

"We can't have that happen right now." You sighed and watched her shake her head. "Okay. I'll be quiet."

"Are you sure you can be quiet, darling?" She smirked as she leaned in to kiss your collarbones. "Are you really sure?"

"It won't be easy," You paused. "But yes."

"Good girl." She smirked.

The next morning, you awoke to find that Taylor wasn't beside you.

The sun was shining brightly as you sat up and looked over to the window, seeing the golden rays come through the curtains.

According to the time, it was almost eight am, and you panicked upon realizing that your alarm hadn't gone off.

"Carter? Are you up?" You asked as you jumped out of bed, running across the hall to his room.

But he wasn't in bed and when you hurried downstairs, you realized why.

He was already dressed and at the table eating breakfast as Taylor finished packing his lunch.

"Good morning!" She grinned.

"Good morning." You smiled back at her, letting out a breath of relief. "My alarm didn't go off. I was worried he'd be late."

"Actually, it did go off. But you slept through it." Taylor teased. "But it's okay. I turned it off, brushed my teeth, got dressed, and then woke him up."

"Wow." You proudly smiled.

"I helped him pick out his clothes and he got changed while I came downstairs to make him breakfast. I just finished making and packing his lunch. I was going to have him come up and give you a hug before I took him to school if you were still asleep."

"Thank you, Taylor. This is a huge help. I'm very grateful." You said before kissing Carter's head.

"It's no problem." She said as you came over to her and pecked her lips.

"Are you almost done, buddy?" You asked Carter as you went back over to him.

"Yeah, I'm full." He said as he wiped his mouth and put his spoon back into his almost empty bowl of cereal.

"Okay." You said and went to grab the bowl, only for him to stop you.

"Mommy?"

"Yes, honey?"

"What's that on your neck?"

Taylor almost choked on her water upon hearing him ask you that.

"What do you mean?" You nervously chuckled.

"There's a mark on your neck, mommy. Lots of them!"

"Oh, uh," You said as you looked to Taylor for help, only to see her struggling to hold back her laughter. "It's a mosquito bite."

"Did you get swarmed by mosquitoes? Because that's more than one bite there, baby," Taylor teased.

"Oh, the others? Those are bruises."

"From what?" Taylor asked, hiding her smirk.

"Are you okay, mommy?"

"I'm okay! I promise. It's nothing. You know me, I'm clumsy." You assured before kissing his head.

"It doesn't hurt?" Carter asked.

"Not at all."

"In fact, she liked them," Taylor mumbled quietly, not loud enough for him to hear but loud enough for you as you walked to her.

"Tay!" You whispered before playfully hitting her shoulder.

"What? I'm just saying. You did!"

"Yes, but he doesn't need to know that." You sighed.

"Will you take me to school today, mommy?"

"Sure! We both will, honey. Go get your shoes on."

He excitedly rushed out of the room and you looked at Taylor.

"You better be on your best behavior."

"I will be." She laughed. "Hey, but when we get home, since we have the house to ourselves, do you want to make out?"

You laughed in response.

"I can give you some more of those." She winked as she touched one of your hickeys.

"Shh," You quickly shushed her. "Fine. But don't say anything else about it until we're home."

"Yes, ma'am," She giggled and grabbed Carter's lunchbox before following you to the living room, so you could both take him to school.
