"Oh Ayan!" I looked at myself in the mirror. Its not my usual outfit na pants and shirt instead its a red offshoulder dress paired with white wedge sandals na may ribbon sa gilid.
"Okay na?" Nilingon ko sya at nakitang naka ngiti at pumapalakpak pa.
"Yes naman! Mukha kang babaeng-babae ngayon ah" Wow talaga yong babae na ito. I dont know if its a compliment or an insult but knowing Jessica maybe in between haha.
"Bakit? Ano ba ako dati?" Nakasimangot ko syang nilingon. Aba mukha ba akong lalaki noon?
"Sira-ulo ka talaga Chandrea" sabay tawa at hampas sa braso ko. I dont know kung bakit pag masaya or tumatawa kaylangan talaga ng hampas? Seriously?
"Lets go na nga" Kinuha mo ang sling bag ko at lumabas na kami ng bahay matapos i-lock ang pinto.
After 10 minutes we arrived at the party. Pag pasok palang namin ay ang ingay na ng music at rinig na rinig talaga.
"Yun ohh! Chan and Jessie are here!" The emcee announced our name thats why everyone's eyes are on us. Most of the giys are looking at our direction kaya medyo nailang ako but then, may nararamdaman akong malamig na aura kaya parang nag siiwasan sila ng tingin sa amin and i dont know why.
"As usual ang ganda parin ah! Walang kupas" Lumapit si Ericko sa amin while holding a glass of wine.
"Sus! Maliit na bagay!" She giggled on her cousin's statement.
"Ahh I'm talking to Chandrea, cous" I saw Ericko's smirk kaya alam ko na inaasar nya lang ang pinsan nya and pustahan talaga mag babangayan nanaman tong dalawang toh
"Bastos ka talaga" bulong nya habang namumula ang mukha dahil siguro nahiya. Hinampas nya si Ericko sa braso while the latter is launching.
"Btw, may irereto sana ako kay Chan kaso hindi ko sila makita" He looked around probably finding the one he's talking about. Bago pa ako mag salita ay naunahan na ako ng bitter kong kaibigan.
"Hoy Aba! Wag mong pinapakilala ang best friend ko sa mga kapwa mo manloloko ha!" Singhal nya sa pinsan nyang unggoy.
"Woah! Niloko ka lang ng isa dinamay mo na lahat" He even hold his chest and acting that he's hurt by her statement.
"Bakit? Totoo naman ah, wala ng matinong lalaki" Bitterness is evident in her voice. Hindi parin ata nakaka move on tong bff ko natoh ahh.
"And why? Lahat ba ng mga lalaki nakarelasyon mo ?" He have point. I just watched them argue infront of me its kinda entertaining for me haha ang cute nila. Kung hindi lang sila mag pinsan iisipin ko na may gusto tong si Ericko kay Jessie ehh kasi laging naghahanap ng pagbabangayan nila ni Jessie and he's always protective when it comes to her maybe because she's the youngest in all of his cousins and they're super close talaga since kid.
"Kahit na! Boys are boys! Duhh. Tara na nga Chan doon tayo sa may mga foods" Nag walk out na sya and maybe she's going in the kitchen pool party kasi ito eh.
I saw him na sinusundan ng tingin si Jessica na punta sa kusina. There's happiness and caring in his eyes and his usual smirk on his face na pag nakita mo ay maasar ka talaga, he's like mocking you kahit hindi naman.
"Uhm thank you for inviting me here Ericko ha" Nilingon nya ako and smiled at me. He nodded and looked in one direction hindi ko na tinignan.
"No problem...Gusto ka kasing makita nung dalawa." Hindi ko naring ang mga sinabi nya dahil sa music.
"Ha?"
"Ohh nothing! Enjoy" He pat my head and leave me there parang nagmamadali pa nga ehh. Baka sususyuin nya ang tamporurut na pinsan nya. Haha they're cute.
I started to walk papunta sa may counter when I accidentally bumped someone and natapon pa ang hawak nyang wine sa damit nya.
" hala! Sorry!" I apologise for what I accidentally did and trying to wipe his dark blue polo. When he gently took my handkerchief that im using to wipe his polo. I even feel the sudden electricity when his hand touches mine nang kukunin nya ang panyo
"Its okay miss" napihinto ako sa boses nya. He have a deep voice yet its soothing parang ang sarap sa tainga. Wait...what? I blink multiple times and I realize na I'm spacing out again like seriously?
"Ahh tulunga--? Where is he?" Wow bilis mag laho ah.. ano sya multo?... Hinanap ko sya sa paligid but to my dismay wala akong nahanap. I just know his voice I didn't even see his face. I shrug it off and continue walking to the counter and I just sit there drinking juice.
"Huy teh! I thought sumunod ka sa akin kanina shuta ka!" Isa patong parang kabute na sulpot ng sulpot ang ingay ingay pa.
" Jessie,your voice" I calmly said while drinking my juice nakaka bored na.
"Fine, fine" She rolled her eyes and get a wine sa counter. Later on I saw a guy he have this badboy looks and a smirk plastered on his lips. Halatang playboy. He approached us and looked at me from head to toe kaya bigla akong nailang. Jessie being protective ay hinarangan nya ang lalaki and she even raised her brows to him.
"Hi miss--She's not interested" Jessie cutted him off she even waved her hand on the air like she's chasing the guy away. Napasimangot naman ang lalaki but then smiled again and looked at Jessie.
"What about y--Not interested" after she cutted him off again, the guy left us there. Sino ba naman ang hindi aalis kung ganyan kasungit yung kausap mo kala mo pa bubugahan ka ng apoy eh.
"Tsk, mga lalaki nga naman" bulong nya sabay harap sa akin.
"You know, dont feel special if a guy likes you..because guy's like anybody" Eto na naman tayo sa mga hugot hugot nya nayan
"Hmmm" i just nodded and listened to her kailangan nya ng ilabas ang mga sama nya ng loob ehh parang lasing narin sya.
" Until now bitter ka parin Jess"
"What? Me? Im not" Sus! Indenial na naman sya. Well hindi ko naman sya masisisi, she cried hard from that heart break and maybe na trauma na sa mga ganyan kaya naging man hater na and love is a lie pa nga ang motto nyan.
"Oh come on! I know you and you're too obvious."
"Yeah right..masakit parin sya Chan ehh. Bakit hindi makuntento sa isa ang ibang tao? Like cheating, they hit two stones at the same time. Why do they need to hurt other people's feelings? They're making someone stupid because of being uncontented." Sabay inom sa hawak nyang wine.
"Hmm yeah..and its not worth crying for isn't it?" I smiled at her. Alam ko namang may natutunan sya eh. Every failure and every heart breaks have a lessons.
"Yes..I just realized na hindi lahat ng bagay kailangan iyakan. Life isn't to be cried for but to be fought for." Yes its so much true im proud of my best friend ang tapang nya.
"That's true so.. just dont mind that past of yours atleast you've learn a lesson right?" Sabi ko habang naka akbay sakanya.
"Yeah" She drank her wine while watching everyone enjoying the night.
