Kita's POV
Light-dude, or apparently Raito, was still beside me. He had let go of my hair and stepped back when he received the blow of my rage and my blood lust, but was still at arm's range. Moron.
I felt weird, both enraged and almost calm. Ah, yes, I know. I had stopped hesitating, that's all. I won't kill them, but I'll make them pay. And more importantly I'll do it fast, for Shinso was agonizing right before me, and I knew that as long as the gangs were here I wouldn't be able to help.
I dindn't lose a second. In the blink of an eye I spun, crashing my foot against Raito's flank, sending him on the ground. Then I grabbed Kumoku's arm and swung him above my shoulder, sending him flying and crashing into Light-dude.
The others woke up and attacked all together. They hade trained since our last fight, their attacks were not so badly coordinated, and they were well positioned.
At the rear, a dozen of meters from here, stood the guy with the glowing spheres, three of his five projectiles flying toward me, the two others near him in stand by. In an arc before him, around three to four meters from me and with enough space between them to not interfere with each others and not being beaten in on strike, were elastic-man, pinky and dart-guy, respectively sending their arms, hair and tails to me. And finally, the girl with the pawns of a bear and her friend that I KO'ed at the very start last time were rushing to me. The friend turned out to have dinosaurs legs, muscular and armed with impressive claws. As for the two Greens they were getting up behind me, as best as they could.
I smiled.
Hitoshi's POV
How could she be smiling at such a moment ?! She was surrounded by eight powerful and organized enemies, while she was alone, wounded and with only a useless quirk ! A Grey against two Greens and six triple stripes is a lost cause. At least that is what my rational brain is telling me.
An other part of my brain, more instinctive, more primal, is telling me that the real danger here is this red eyed demon. But I myself am not worried, I know that I'm not at risk. Except from succumbing to an internal bleeding. I feel my conscience fading.
Aizawa : Hitoshi ! Stay awake, I beat them all and I'll bring you to a doctor I know !
I reopen my eyes. She got slightly distracted to talk to me and one of dart-guy's darts scratched her cheek. I grit my teeth and focus on staying awake. She is fighting to get us out of here, I can at least do that. And after all, it would be a shame to miss the show. I slightly smile, spit blood, then nod while looking at her in the eyes. She answers by a half-smile and a nod, before refocusing on her fight.
I'm scared for her. But when I see her fighting seriously, I'm suddenly almost scared for them. Almost.
Kita's POV
Shinso is fighting to stay awake. I know that if he fall unconscious we will be in deep shit medically speaking. I really have to hurry. So I give up on ( some of ) my last restrains and attack.
I lunge forward, dodging the punchs from the bear girl, block the dinosaur's kick and twist his ankle to have his claws pointing toward his partner, before grabbing her head and violently bringing it to the ground.
She screams while the dino's claws impale her belly. Blood spurts and renders the ground slippery, sticky. I have blood all over my hands but I'm not bothered. Without even noticing I bring them to my face and lick the red liquid.
