Third person's POV :
August xx14, with the Aizawa-Yamada
Every year during the August holidays, the two classes of UA's heroic course go on a training camp to train their quirks. Since Aizawa had to be there and the trio wanted to train anyway, it was decided that the RGB — as Midnight had nicknamed them — would go with him.
For the great joy of the 1A and 1B students, this year's camp was supposed to take place at a beach, a private part owned by a sea hero who controlled water. Unfortunately for them, they were kicked from the boat with only a few inflatable boats at more than an hour in —motored — boat from their hotel. And of course, there were a significant number of traps of all kinds on their path, and the hero who hosted them had a great time making their lives miserable.
As for the RGB they were... thrown overboard like the rest of the students. Discretely, half an hour before their elders. The poor trio did its best, but ended up half drowned, washed up on the beach. Hitoshi would have liked to take control of the local hero, but unfortunately for him he didn't show up, probably warned by Eraser beforehand. What a shame.
The rest of the week was both nice and hellish. Hellish because Eraser was doing a bit of favoritism. Which means that he was training them harder than he would with any other student. Izuku and Kita ended all their MORNING completely exhausted, lungs and muscles burning.
Hitoshi being the only one of the trio that had a quirk to train, he was tasked with increasing the number of people he could control at once, improving his control so they would no longer be able to escape him with a simple shock, training to control them for longer periods, experimenting to see what he could make them do exactly and even seeing if there was a way to take over someone without restrictions. To do so, he fortunately had help from Ectoplasm's clones who apparently had their own mind — albeit intellectual limited. It would have been better to train on real people but unfortunately, apart from his blended family, no one trusted him enough for that.
But training put aside, they had a great time there. The place was right beside the sea, with cliffs a bit further away, reefs and traitorous and dangerous sea currents, which meant that very few people was swimming there. Very few meaning three.
Kita more or less pulled them alongside her in her expeditions. Izuku was too shy to go explore alone and Hitoshi too tired of life. But together they had fun. The third day of camp the young girl managed to accidentally fall of a cliff, and discovered a small cove hidden by the cliff and inaccessible because of the currents and reefs.
There was a moment of panic since the wall was nearly impossible to climb up or down, but when Kita discovered that there was a small hollow in the rocks coming out of the sea, she let herself be carried by the current of the cove to the big blue, then from there she swam to the beach of their residence. From then on, the trio returned every evening to spend quiet time in their "secret hideout."
When the classes left, the trio was rejoined by Present Mic and Midnight who had insisted to spend Hollidays as a family for once. They had struggled to convinced Eraser, the hero being the kind to work himself to the bones, but once it was done all teachers without a family to spend their holidays with, along with Nezu and RG, came to the hotel. It was an excellent week.
The last day a big party was thrown and everyone stayed awake till dawn — except the night hero who spent the week in his cocoon, sleeping or drinking coffee. While all the still conscious adults were cleaning up the mess, Shota and Hizashi went looking for their children, and came across a scene that stopped them in their tracks.
