Kita's POV
It was the 1st of April xx16. The first day at school. My first day at UA's high school. My first day as a hero in training. Considering everything I did and lived before it seemed like nothing, but I couldn't help feeling exhilarated and anxious. For many reasons. After all... HE will be here...
As usual our fathers drove us to UA an hour early, and we waited more or less patiently in the teachers' room, looking at them coming and going to finalise last-minute preparations. Then came the time to go our separate ways.
We stood up and left together, having fifteen minutes to go to our respective rooms. We shared a glance, suddenly submerged by emotions. It would be our first time being in a different class at UA. And having to go each into a different course suddenly made things very real. I saw it in Toshi's and Azu's eyes, the sudden sadness and disappointment. But I also saw the determination replacing it, and they smiled. I smiled back.
Toshi : Well, let's work hard I suppose...
He already look completely dead.
Me ( laughing ) : You'd better or I'll get ahead !
Toshi ( sneering ) : Eh, keep dreaming. You'll see who will win the festival !
Izu : Me ?
We laughed. I felt great seeing them so confident, able to banter, to slightly boast. They changed a lot since I first met them. For the best.
Me : See you guys !
Them : See you !
I gave them one last wave goodbye and headed to my classroom, the boys going in the opposite direction
Knowing the path like the back of my hand in got there in five minutes top. I stopped a second, staring at the giant door. I was here. I truly was a student of class 1A. I smiled. My intuition was telling me that it was going to be an interesting year.
I entered, to stumble into a surprising sight. The explosif dandelion from the sludge vilain attack was slumped in a chair, feet on his table, the robot boy scolding him, talking about respecting your elders or something. Behind, a boy with half his hair white and the other half red was calmly talking to the explosif boy — who wasn't paying attention to the robot — with a soldier laughing beside them.
The robot — completely ignored — eventually tried to touch the dandelion's shoulder, who put him into a beautiful armlock, pinning him to the ground. I whistled. It could still be refined, lacking a tiny bit in flexibility and speed mainly, but the move was pretty good.
Then, before the situation could take a turn for the worst, a boy with blue eyes and blond messy hair — quite similar to Izuku — approached them and succeeded at not only calm everyone down by simple charisma, but also at getting a appreciating smile from the explosive dandelion.
I slightly smiled, a wave of melancholy crashing into me. Akatani Yagi. A born leader, impossibly similar to All Might, but with the smarts to boost. I glanced at his armband. Green. Hitoshi was right, this boy was probably the futur « Symbol ». I simply hoped that it wouldn't be the symbole of Peace, but of something fairer.
Well, that's not all, but dadzawa was most likely going to show up any minute now. Knowing him I was waiting for a wacky entrance. He may look like a serious guy — which he was — but he was doing some jokes... sorry, « logical ruses ».
It didn't fail. He downright came in his cocoon, appearing behind a doll-like girl who had stopped at the entrance to look at the others. The poor girl jumped so hight she left the ground.
