28. 10 months before the exam, pt1

A/N:

         Okay, so... fun fact, I made a smaaaaaall mistake in the timeline. Everyone was one year too young. Oupsies😅

          For everyone who started reading after the 20-something Jully 2024, it's all good, I corrected it. For everyone else, I apologies deeply.

          There are four chapter about the "10 months before the exam", so to apologize properly — and spare everyone from waiting a month before getting to the well-known arcs from the original MHA — I decided to post the four of them in a row, one per day 😁.

PS : Did anyone actually noticed the mistake ? Genuine question. 

Third person's POV :

9 April xx14, with the Aizawa-Yamada

          Detective Tsukauchi asked to see Izuku. The boy instantly guessed why, and to everyone's surprise he asked for Present Mic, the Aizawas, Midnight, Nezu and Recovery Girl to be here. Once everyone was here and someone asked him why, he simply said, stuttering and staring at the ground, that since they heard the incomplete story it was fairer if they were all here to hear the rest, which greatly puzzled them. Until Tsukauchi talked about Bakugou, asking Izuku his reasons for not mentioning the other boy.

          There was a moment of silence, then the young boy spoke.

Izuku : Did you arrest him ?

Tsukauchi : No. He wasn't at the orphanage during the raid.then, when we tried to localise him we discovered that every information regarding him was now under Endeavor's control. The hero adopted him yesterday evening around 7:30 pm, right before we found him, and this morning all charges again the boy had been deleted.

          There was a silence.

Izuku : Endeavor... I would have hoped... but he'll improve greatly with him... and Endeavor will protect him... I'm relieved.

Eraser : Why ? Who is this boy ?

Izuku : My friend... well, our mothers were friends so we more or less grew up together since birth. Katchan was awesome, succeeding in everything he was doing, he even scared the upperclassmen, and he never doubted himself. I admired him. But one day... when we were three... at the mall... our parents died during a vilain attack... because of me.

          His voice broke and he bursted in tears. Hizashi hugged him to console him and the boy clanged to his shirt. Everyone patiently waited, Kit and Hitoshi awkwardly trying to comfort him without a word. Then, once he calmed down enough to talk again, Recovery Girl gave him a handful of candies and the detective kindly enjoin him to continue.

Izuku : When the attack began... we fled. But I heard a cry and turned around. There wad a girl stuck under the rubles. I didn't even though a second and came to help her, but didn't have the strength to move anything. My mom noticed and came to get me, but I insisted to help the girl and she accepted to help me. Then auntie Mitsuki, uncle Maseru and Katchan came too and we managed to free the girl. Well, the adults did... but then the building around us collapsed on us.

          His voice cracked again. The assembly patiently waited for him to be ready to continue, Nezu recording for Hound Dog and Tsukauchi for his report, Hizashi rubbing circles on the kid's back.

Izuku : Katchan and I were in a small cave, which allowed us to breath and survive, but my feet and lower legs were crushed. The air was almost unbreathable, full of dust, but even though he was coughing a lot, Katchan kept encouraging me, saying that All Might would come save us and that he would then train us to become heroes, that our parents were ok but were probably worried outside so we had to be strong to reassure them once out, this kind of things. But when they finally got us out of there...
