As the morning light filters through the curtains, you wake to the irritating blare of your phone's alarm. Rays of sunlight gently nudge you awake, accompanied by the cheerful chirping of birds outside your window. Is it morning already?
Your eyes snap open, and to your shock, you realize it's actually the middle of the afternoon! You glance at your clock, hoping it's a mistake, but no, it's time to rise and shine. How on earth did you manage to oversleep so badly!?!?
Stretching out on the bed, you begin, "Good morning, Kaka—" But he's not there. He must have left early. Feeling a pang of loneliness, you remind yourself it wasn't intentional; you just couldn't switch off your mind last night.
"Where did he hop off?" you mutter, noticing a note on the fridge.
"Princess, had to leave early. Jade called in the morning. Breakfast's ready, and if you're taking a holiday, tell Jade. Love you, my friend. <3"

After taking everything you needed, You made your way to work. It's a nice day, so you make the most of it and go there by foot, taking your time.There's frenzy in the streets. People look busy, Some are on their way to work, shop keepers are cleaning their front windows and the taxis are in full swing.
